Updated Review:I bought a pair of anti-blue light glasses so I can protect my eyes while using the computer or my phone, etc and it came with a blue light testing kit and I decided to try it on my laptop filter screen to see how effective it is on blocking blue light and it basically blocks out maybe 10% of the blue light because the testing area reacted and turned very blue even with the filter covering the testing area. Very disappointed.Original Review:The product came in a timely manner with Amazon prime. The instructions are super confusing especially since there are so many different ways to install this. It comes with adhesive strips and magnetic strips that you can use separately or together. The screen does not completely black out everything, but most of the screen. I originally gave this product 3 stars, but after more use with it, I learned that I cannot close my laptop fully. I read the other reviews and I chose this instead of another product because I thought it would have no problem closing completely. For other products, the magnetic strip would hinder it from closing completely, but I chose not to use the magnetic strips and only the thin adhesive ones.

So, I noticed very few reviews that seemed of questionable origin. This screen filter is legit, slim, and I have ZERO issues with closing my Macbook pro 13"". I've thoroughly tested the viewability of my screen from various angles and screen brightnesses and am very pleased with the filter's ability to protect my screen privacy. I'm a technology consultant and work in close quarters on sensitive info, so it suits my need perfectly, particularly when I'm traveling and working on client sensitive materials. The packaging was also clean, professional, and all products contained within were of the highest quality. Honestly, I would have expected to see this product priced at least another $15-20 higher based on the quality. I should say that I love my mac and the clean lines of the filter neither detract nor distract from its natural beauty. As a matter of fact, I like the clean design of the magnetic strips and the paper cutout that shows you exactly where to optimally place the magnetic strips. VERY pleased with this product, the packaging, and the quality. Will admit to being somewhat concerned having never heard of the company that made it, but don't let that keep you from a great buy.

Really easy to apply the magnets. Small U shaped notch for the camera isn’t compatible with the sliding camera covers.It’s significantly better than the sticky options. Fits perfectly and doesn’t interfere with regular use at all.

Really great, just what I needed. But expensive for what it is. I like the magnetic option a lot, because sometimes i want maximum brightness on my screen for watching shows. Many people have asked me about it!

So easy to install on my Mac. Works beautifully. My coworker liked it so much they are purchasing one for themselves. My Mac doesn’t close completely but it doesn’t impact the battery charge.

I had a 3M filter on my current Mac until I lost it and had to replace it. It was flimsy (bent easily leaving crease line) and didn't have magnets. This one feels more solid, the magnetic strips work great making the screen easily removable, and I think the straight-through brightness might even be better (not able to directly compare though).
