Licorice powder can brighten the skin and get rid of a tan. It is best to mix with honey or aloe vera juice for best results. I used it on my face and it help me with the brightened skin and helped me in getting rid of unwanted facial hair. Must go for it.

Not suitable for DIY face wash
It's not powdered finely for a diy face wash. May be works okay for mask. But if you are looking to use for face wash, look elsewhere.
