If your power wheel will only drive with one wheel, and only in "FAST" mode, it's likely either a burned out motor, or bad connection to that motor. In slow mode, and in reverse, the motors are wired in series so if one of them has an open circuit (bad motor or connection) it won't operate in those modes.

I installed these motors on toby jeep. I also installed a motor controller and variable speed pedal and 20v dewalt. With this combination the jeep is borderline to fast at 10mph. My 2 year old loves it. These motors would be to fast without the variable speed pedal. If you do not have any upgrades on your toy would suggest the 20,000rpm-30,000rpm motors. That being said very happy with the product.

I wanted to upgrade my daughter’s motors on her power-wheels and purchased this to give it a go. Here is my feedback after testing…1. The connectors do not stay on like advertised. Soldering is required despite what it says. Heat shrink and tape don’t work.2. No screw holes on side like other vendors. You can’t physically attached this for my stability.3. The motor burned up, you can smell severe fire damage from inside of motors.4. This motor is advertised at 12V 4,000 RPM but I saw zero difference when testing against 12V 1,200RPM stock motor.5. Motor was overheating and shutting off during rides before it finally died.Overall i would not recommend you waste time on this.

I am impressed how well this gearbox/motor worked for the price. Sons power wheel is like a dragster now. Might pick a slower motor next time, but wow it works great.
