Excellent kit but we were missing magic sand so sadly unable to do this experiment

Grandson thought it was fab

4 year old grandson got it for christmas. It was on his wishlist. Parents love it just as much, so fun for the whole family. They love getting it out and making potions.However missing a trickcould have an order list to replace individual item contents. Not everyone has time to look for these things.happy memories in a box for the whole family, who knew a cheap and inexpensive gift would provide so much. Absolutely pleased with this purchase.

Grandson loves this we have lots of fun only thing I'd say is would be better if it had more colours in it or bigger bottles as you don't get much in them but I spose it just a starter set

My 6 year old grandson already has a very inquisitive mind and can reel off scientific facts at the drop of a hat; not that I have a clue if he’s right! I think he’ll really enjoy this experiment set.Positives: Comes in a cardboard box with lots of plastic, so good for storage. There are plenty of safety warnings on the box, although the text is in German. Instructions inside the box are in English and bottle labels are translated into English. There are lots of experiments to do and a good range of resources included.Negatives: Not exactly a negative but adult supervision might be required and the set should be kept away from younger children/pets (especially if your child is likely to experiment on the cat!)

My 8 year old son absolutely loves this set! It comes with plastic goggles and test tubes and lots of bits and pieces to set up their mini lab. I would say that all of the experiments are best done with supervision so that they can follow the steps (which are not that clearly explained in the instructions). That said its easy enough for an adult to figure it out and with supervision actually makes this an inspiring learning experience.The quality of what's in the box is not the best but more than I expected for the price point and plenty good enough for a child's set. It looks attractive and fun to play with and my son keeps wanting to use it - which is always a good sign.I think it's good value for money. It needs supervision despite what the age range says (otherwise they just start making 'potions' with everything. A lot of fun times for not very much money. Recommended.
