Good Baking Tool
After America's Test Kitchen episode recommended this thermometer, I purchased it. After several days of multiple testing, I'm pleased with the consistency and accuracy of it.

I love it.
Place it in your oven to get an accurate temperature reading while baking. The oven's knob setting might read 350 degrees but the actual temperature might be higher or lower.

Purchased two. Did not agree with one another in oven. 40 degree difference between them.
sat both of these next to one another in my oven. They didn't agree with one another at all. There was a difference of 40 degrees between them. not ok. returned both. Not accurate.

stable seemingly accurate oven gauge
We have a new electric double oven and purchased this model based on reviews of America's Test Kitchen. Set each oven to 350 and placed the thermometer in the oven. Each time I looked at the thermometer it read 350 on the nose. I used an infrared point and shoot thermometer and it would read between 329 and 360 which I am presuming is due to the oven cycling on and off to maintain the set temp. Overall happy with the oven and the thermometer.
