I usually wear a L, but ordered this in an XL because I’ve gained some weight. It was basically a tarp. The sleeves were like pant legs. It was as wide as it was long.Sent it back and got a large. It was a little tight, but fine, and I got many compliments the one time I wore it. Then I washed it in cold water, and couldn’t even get it on anymore it shrunk so much.I’m tempted to buy another so called “XL” and try shrinking it to a large, but after buying and returning two of these things I think I’ll just look elsewhere and save myself more wasted money and frustration. You should too.

I'm an XL and bought this shirt in XL. Liked it when it arrived. Material felt good. Looked roomy, so put it on over a concert t-shirt I was already wearing, and it fit comfortably - plenty of room to move, even with a shirt on under it. So washed it in cold water. Came out of the wash (no dryer) with significant shrinkage. The shirt is now uncomfortably tight and short. I could get by wearing it like this, but body-hugging is not the look or feel I was going for with this style of shirt.

Such a great shirt, but buy a size larger than you need. I purchased in medium and large, and after one wash, the large shrunk a bit smaller than the medium.
