Wellington boots
Portwest boots are brilliant, definitely worth the money and good price to.

Good boots
Unfortunately not true to size , I wear two pairs of thick socks to fill what are supposed to be size 8 .

Basic and functional
As with others, I dropped down a size. I’m a standard size 9 (43) but ordered an 8 (42) which fit fine, even with two pairs of socks.I wouldn’t say they are the most comfortable, have only worn them once and they seem to press on the top of my foot where they crease when walking; but could be because they are new. Calf area is a little wider than my previous wellies but not overly large. If you have thin legs you might notice that. They are basic wellies but do the job. TBH I’m fed up paying £50, £60, £70 for supposedly top quality wellies that only last a year or two at best. I only use wellies to walk the dog so if these last a year or two then I’m fine with that as they are only £15 at the end of the day.

GOOD WELLIES EXCEPT THEY LEAK!.
Seemed really good but less than 3 years old and only worn when pressure washing so used at most 6 times a year but usually 3 times a year and already leaking. Cannot believe it. First pair ever to leak. Have paid a lot less in past and had good leakproof boots. Only ever changed because of them getting scruffy. Very disappointed.
