Amazed how well this worked
Typical camera style tripod. When it first came in I set it up in the living room. I was worried because it does not look very sturdy. You can fold the legs straight out and that would help but my goal is to use it camping. I don’t want to have Starlink close to the ground. I am scared dogs will pee on it. Someone might drive over it. I want it as high as I can get it and easy to see. We took it camping and had to set it right next to the road to get a clear view of the sky. I couldn’t fold the legs out straight because it would have been too low to the ground and it had to point over where I was parking the truck. That night we went to bed. I had intended to use the tie down in the middle to stake it down to the ground for better stability but had forgotten about. We had a really big storm come through. 4 inches of rain and 60 mile an hour wind gust. I got up that morning it was still raining. I couldn’t wait for the rain to stop because I just knew the Starlink had fallen over and probably hit the side of my truck not only damaging the brand new Starlink dish but probably my truck as well. When it stopped raining I went outside to check on it. I was amazed it had not moved. Just dumb look or designed better than I thought? I don’t know.I feel a lot better about this tripod now. Glad I got it for portability. I really wanted to get a pole and mount it on my ladder but I think that is a bad idea. Too many times tree cover would block the signal. I needed something I could set up in a different place every time we set up camp and could get a clear view of the north sky. There are so many videos of people saying they can just point Starlink straight up and get signal. This is true, you will connect but your speeds will suffer a lot. It works a lot better if you point it the way the app tells you. We had to try 3 different places to get it up to 200 MBPS. If I had just set it on top of the RV we would have only gotten 20 MBPS. So far this is the best portable option I have found for setting up Starlink in campgrounds.

Very well built.
This tripod is almost as nice as my $225 Manfrotto camera tripod. Used it twice already with the Gen 3 Starlink dish and it is very stable and does exceptionaly well in the wind. I am amazed at how little it moves once set up. I usually set it up as low to the ground as possible and only tied it down the first time I used it as the wind was supposed to gust over 40 mph. If I were to raise it up I would probably recommend some type of anchor. Very impressed with the design and the mount for the starlink is well made also.

Sets up quickly
Tripod sets up easily. I bought metal tent stakes to hold it down. I used two flat screwdrivers to take off the original back easel and put on the tripod wedge.

Easy setup!
This light weight tripod is easy to setup and is great for areas where Mother Nature could easily damage your StarLink antenna.

Good tripod but need a way to level it
Camp grounds are often not level. The unit has no way to adjust it to get it level. It comes with no instructions as in general none should be needed. It came with a second set of feet which grip the ground better and 3 bolts which seem to have no use.The tripod itself is well made, too bad it can't be leveled. A simple extendable leg would likely do the job. It alse comes with a plastic mount which fits on the starlink antenna/radio. As I have a starlink pole mount already I did no use the one that comes with the tripod.I attach a light on it to help people see it at night and not walk into it. I use a 3 foot piece of "EL" Wire with a small battery/controller a few bucks on amazon left over from a old burning man display. Works for many nights on 2 AAA batteries.
