You NEED an irobot in your life!5 ⭐ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!!I have dogs and I struggle to keep the house clean, especially with shiny floors.Herbert senses went to vacuum when to mop, doesn't use too much solution so the floors aren't slippy. He then takes himself home, cleans off his own mop pad, recharges with freshwater and cleaning solution, empties his own dirty tank, empties his own vacuum container, recharges his battery if necessary, and then starts all over again!CUSTOMER SERVICE IS AMAZING. I had a small issue with my robot and Svetoslav at iRobot was so incredibly helpful, resolved my problem immediately with no quibbles. WELL DONE iROBOT!! 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

We had an older version of Roomba, around 7 years old. It does a better job. This one leaves the dirt on the carpet everywhere! We cleaned the bin, wiped censors etc, no difference! It does not have strong suction and can not pick up. Older version is more powerful! Shockingly disappointing customer service from Amazon too. They don’t exchange, as I am not sure if we received a defective or returned item. They only accept return, while they doubled the price. Returning this and looking into different brands. Such a shame as we loved our previous IRobot.

This is the first time I’ve used a robot vacuum. We’re a busy working household and I don’t have time for regular cleaning. Hairs and dust build up especially fast in my home, which I can’t keep on top of, so I was hoping that ordering this iRobot Roomba would ease my cleaning workload.Firstly, it’s worth quickly mentioning that the complete package is very heavy. Also, once you unpack it, the docking station is large. I needed to clear a big space in my living room with plenty of clearance to place it suitably, so make sure you have enough room for this. A positive is that the docking station looks smart, sleek, and modern, so it didn't impact the appearance of my room too much.Since putting it to use, cleaning the floors has been a seamless experience. It saves me precious time and saves me effort too, as I’m not having to haul a vacuum around and hurt my back. Instead, I just open the app, decide what needs cleaning, such as the entire house or just a specific room, and with just a simple click, the vacuum works to get the job done.The suction is strong and powerful, and it cleans up dust and dirt effectively. I love that it easily cleans under tables, beds and chairs, which are usually difficult because everything requires moving or pulling out with a traditional vacuum. These areas weren’t getting cleaned properly before, but now they are with this Roomba.Additionally, I love that the mop/vacuum functions are completely self-cleaning, and I haven’t needed to do any maintenance or replace vacuum bags. Only occasionally I have had to cut tangled hairs out of the rollers.In my opinion, this is worth the investment, particularly for busy households that don’t have much time to relax. This product has saved me so much time and stress (always thinking that the house needs to be cleaned and never getting round to do it!). Now, I just click once and can sit back and get on with my life while the vacuum does the hard work for me.

Great suction, good at mopping, but awful at emptying the bin, I have a dog that sheds A LOT, and whilst it's great at picking the hair up, it just can't expel it out of the vacuum into the dock's integral bin, meaning the bin needs manually emptying after every time it thinks it's full.Noise wise, it's really quiet, and the scheduled programs are are good as are it's mapping features, can navigate really well.As the title states, it's a great device, if you can get it on offer, which at time of writing was £699.

It got stuck as soon as it came out the dock and done a map of my kitchen then couldn’t find the dock to go and recharge, I tested it about 5 times, my opinion is that it’s absolutely useless! I have had the lower end roomba’s before and they never had any problems.

Unpacking the Roomba, the 71 page instruction manual tells you to install the dock ramp and plug it in. That's it. The rest of the manual is various languages and safety warnings.Loading the app, it first stuck on setting up my wifi. I restarted the app, and tried again. It took 5 minutes to connect to the cloud service on a 1gb/s connection.Once it finally accepted that the wifi was valid, it took 15+ minutes to do an update.Finally able to start the room map, the robot wonders in random directions, goes back over areas it's already mapped, tries to climb up bar stools, knocks over waste paper bins and tries to go under swivel chairs for about 30 minutes.You eventually end up with a map of various rooms.Telling it to vacuum my hall (which should be easy enough, it's a straight hallway), it moves around randomly and goes nowhere near one wall. Cat litter gets thrown around everywhere, and only about half of it gets picked up.When it returns to the base station, the vacuum completely fails to empty the bin from the robot.Telling it to mop my bathroom, it goes in, claims to be wetting the mop, puts the mop part down and then leaves not a single drop of water on the floor. It also only "cleans" half the bathroom despite having mapped it fully.I tried changing the mop pad for the spare one, and setting it to use maximum water, and it didn't do much better. The mop pad was barely damp after finishing.The little spinny brush absolutely chokes on any hair, and it'll need cutting off.This would have got a 3 star if it just wasn't very good, but it's terrible and priced at £1400.I'll be packing this up and sticking with my Henry and a steam mop.
