The bag of whole leaf dulse that I received was nice and fresh (soft and moist and not dried out). Tasty! I'm not sure why the Grand Manan dulse from Canada is so much better than the Maine stuff but I like it better. Buying this stuff online shipped into the US is so much easier than trying to explain to the US border guard what dulse is.

As a Maritimer living on the West Coast for the past 30 years, I regularly miss being able to get dulse!! It's life! (if you know, you know!). I originally balked at the prospect of paying 20$ for one bag, but have been in heaven since getting it, and have carefully rationed myself to not go crazy and eat it all at once - there's enough in there that you actually can have *some* restraint (again, if you know, you know LOL!). I will definitely be getting more of this - it's the real deal. So yummy! and so good (and so good FOR you)! :). A+ totally recommend for a dulse 'fix'!

Not long ago, I was purchasing a different brand, locally, but it's been a while since they've brought it in. This brand is the same high quality, but seems overly expensive :-/
