Tasty, aromatic, adds a little *oomph* to foods
Flavorful, savory, I really like this McCormick roasted ground cumin. Just seems to add an extra little *oomph* to foods, and I've not seen this at my two local grocery stores. We can get regular cumin, but not this roasted kind.When I make tacos, I use the Ortega taco mix packets (our favorite), but I'll add a half teaspoon of cumin to it. I also like to sprinkle it over fried eggs. If there are any Mexican-style leftovers, I'll reheat them in the microwave, sprinkle a bit of cumin on a tortilla, and wrap them up. Makes a great breakfast or lunch!We also like it in the queso dip made with 1 pound of Velveeta and 1 10-ounce can of Rotel tomatoes and chilis. I usually add about a half teaspoon.I've added it to spaghetti sauce (marinara), meatloaf, meatballs, home made salsa, chicken soup, chicken and dumplings, and, of course, pinto beans!Give it a try.

I purchased this from Amazon because my grocery store never has it in stock anymore. The price was similar and the product is great.

This is the one you want!
I tried another brand of cumin on Amazon and it was very weak and without flavor. The McCormick product is vibrant and aromatic.
