BluesoundNode Performance Multi-Room Hi-Res Wireless Music Streamer (2024 Model) - Black

This amazing product makes it possible to stream music through my component system. I'm very happy with the quality of sound and the price.

I think that for the money, this is one of the best sounding all in one streamers that you will find for around $550. I believe it to be quite a step up in sound quality as an all in one unit compared to the original Node and Node 2i. The DAC in this new unit sounds wonderful, a nice even sound with tonal richness across the spectrum. The headphone amplifier is also very good and worth the extra cost over the Nano if you plan on listening to headphones. I would say if you don't care about headphone listening or plan on using your own DAC you could save some money by going with the Nano or an older Node but if you plan on using all of the features and/or need an HDMI input this is the one to get. The Nano was highly reviewed by British Audiophile (whom I trust) and I figured if the Nano was good that the Node would be even better given it has it's own power supply... I think I made the right decision. I give the unit 4 stars instead of 5 because before purchasing I called Bluesound a couple of times hoping to get someone on the phone who had actually used the product to answer some questions and the only people I was able to talk to seemed to be some outsourced call center with scripted responses so I am deducting a star for Bluesound being an audio company without actual audio customer support.

I use it as streamer only for now. Really perfect works with BluOs and even with Tidal Connect.I am very satisfied with the Bluesound Node N132

Remarkable difference from N130 when watching TV (HDMI from TV into Node then analog out to Yamaha AS1200, B&W 603S2), and I heard sounds in songs when streaming Spotify I'd never heard before. Couldn't be happier with this upgrade.

The Bluesound Node was a substantial upgrade for me musically/sonically from the PC to Schiit Audio Modi DAC I was using before. My Wharfedale Lintons never sounded better.One caveat is the Bluesound software doesn't support setting favorites for Amazon Music and Bluesound product support was basically a dead end. I choose not to fight that battle and just switch to another music streaming service their software better supported.The crappy product support from Bluesound cost the Node a star, but otherwise, I'm very happy with the purchase. The Node sounds absolutely wonderful.

I've only been listening for a day but it's an obvious improvement over the older 2i that I've been using for streaming for the last few years. Much fuller, richer, more analog sound. Radio Paradise and Qobuz have never sounded better in my system. Anyone want a pristine Node 2i for cheap? lol

I was looking for a specific combination of features - music streamer with HDMI input, Dirac Live room correction capability, including digital output of Dirac DSP, including separate sub output that works with digital out. Dirac calibration takes some time, a separate license/mix purchase, and for best results in my view some target tweaking.....but I was not disappointed by the results. Prior to this, Minidsp seemed to be the closest solution. Minidsp has a ton of varieties in device types, yet none offered HDMI input AND digital out AND separate sub out AND streaming functionality that the Node 2024 offers. Minidsp does offer quite a bit of DSP functionality outside of Dirac, but don't view as necessary with Dirac enabled. I don't find I am missing the Node Icon's screen (app functionality covers me), and my sense is that the Node Icon's other key upgrade is the DAC and analogue outputs, which I am bypassing anyway. Maybe most importantly, my wife can still use the TV exactly as she did before and has voiced no complaints about things not working because I made things too complicated. I do wish it came with a remote with preset buttons for the five Dirac profiles (minidsp has this), and I wish Dirac software made it a bit easier for me to import my own room targets (but only tweakers like me will care). Very happy that the Bluesound Node checked all my requirements and at the same time has not irritated my wife.
