Just fine, once you build it. Be violent!
Big box, lots of bits, less than Lego-standard instructions for assembly, but eventually it went together properly. Those connecting arms are a bit of a pain, very hard to undo if they snap closed wrongly. It all works fine, the foot pedal has short and long leg positions, the height's adjustable et cetera. It does take a fair whack to get a reliable response, so playing can annoy others with the resonating thuds. Maybe a double layer of roll mat on the floor is in order. The foot pedal is central. The image here shows it central. You can position it left or right of centre, but you can't position it left or right in general. It's always going to be in a brake-pedal position, not clutch or accelerator. At least, being Madcatz, it came with batteries and everything worked. The little wires go into colour-coded sockets, which is a nice touch that makes it easier to get that part right first time.

Pro Drums - The Next Logical Step
For all of those who've been playing with the old school Rock Band drums, and have RB3, if you've gotten to the point where you can play most songs quite well, then its time to invest. These add that extra bit of authenticity, and if you have a large library of music for Rock Band, you will be able to play any of them with Pro Drums, so it's good value for money in terms of how much can be played.Takes a while to set-up (as in ~60-90 minutes) but worth it.The shipping took about 6 working days for me, arriving a day before the projected date.

Meh
Yellow symbal was double hitting fresh out of the box which annyoed me, couldn't be bothered sending it back though. After 4 months of fair usage the module thing in the middle broke. Waste of money for £100, would pay £50 for it.You'd be much better off getting an Alesis DM6 and just using the Rock Band MIDI Pro adapter to hook it up. I have that now as a replacement and I can play real drums aswell as the game. Much better option. Avoid this unless the price lowers.

Rock Band 3 Wireless Pro Drums and Cymbal Pack (PS3) Review
First of all a word of praise for Amazon UK for providing a good quality service and producs. Even in the current weather conditions they managed through DHL to meet the delivery date estimated for this package. Now for the kit:I managed to build the kit up in about 20 min. Very easy to follow instructions and the kit is built in a way that is easy to set up and go in no time. It keeps the same building technique as the first Rock Band drums kit.The drums are sturdy enough to receive a good beating, the only downsize would be that the cymbal poles are wobbling a little when hitting them or the drums themselves, but it does not keep you from playing the game at it's best. A very nice addition are the rubber pads that are mounted on the bottom of the drum "legs", keeping the kit in it's place even on the tiles that I have at home (the first one was moving a lot when I was kicking a little harder the bass pedal so I had to improvise some stoppers in front of the drums). The drum pads are much quieter than the first version, so I will not have to buy a set of silencers for them in order to not disturb my wife's sleep. They are also much responsive to hits and the new angle of attack feels more natural. The bass pedal is now reinforced with a metal plate and even if I did not broke my first version I feel more confident now to pound it even harder. It is also quieter than the first release. This is my first cymbal pack so I can not compare it with the first one. Here are my thoughts. They are a bit loud but not as much that it could disturb anyone in other rooms or floors. The only thing that upsets me is that one of the cymbals suffers from double triggering. Now I am playing on medium so I only use one, but in the future I think it will be a problem when moving on to harder levels so adding the other cymbals. I will need to find a way to stop this(I saw on Youtube that a solution is covering the hitting area with a rather thick layer of tape). That's about it. I really enjoy this kit so I recommend it to other rock band fans out there.

Drums good, Cylbals bad
Got the entre kit in good time, as always from Amazon. :-)It is vary easy to setup and configure, however the build quality is some what lacking. The left leg of the stand ha no bottom to it. It simply slides up and down in the footing, leaving rings on my carpet. Not a massive deal, but the Cymbals are also not us to scratch. When they worked, they add another element to the game that just takes it levels above and is AMAZING fun to play just like your using a real set of drums (well, as close as your ever going to get :-p). However the cymbals don't work properly. The double-tap all the time and this is such a big issue with them, the manufacturer is allowing you to take it to bits and insert pennies into the sensor bracket in an attempt to fix it. Now I'm sure this is all very nice, but this did not fix mine and is a very widely spread problem. All three of my cymbals double-tap when I hit them with any force, making them almost unusable unless I tame donw my drumming, which completely take the fun out of getting lost in the experience if I have to be thinking "Oh, not too hard" all the time. :-/In summary: The drums are awesome! Get them! The Cymbals are rubbish! Don't get them! :-)
