Really healthy plant and very easy to do.
I was sceptical after reading some of the reviews but thought I would give it a go anyway. I have to say I am really impressed, the plant looked very healthy and it took all of about 5 minutes to set up in the pot. I soaked the whole thing in a bucket of dechlorinated water before putting in my pond so any loose soil was left in the bucket. It was delivered half and hour ago and is all done and in the pond already, I can’t wait to see the flowers and I will update with pictures once it has grown. I would definitely recommend.

Still in the box!
I haven't planted it! It was too late in the season but it will be ready for next year. It's quite large for a tub being Zone 4 What did I know about zones?! It comes in a square container and ready to plant. Great colours. Watch this space as they say.

Growing well in Spring
Purchased in March ‘24 and put straight in my small pond - corm looked healthy with two rudimentary leaves showing (do check the corm is firm and has signs of green / isn’t rotten. I have bought similar kits from garden centres and the corm had rotted). After about a month the first leaf appeared and now it’s putting out a new leaf every week. Great size for a small pond and look forward to flowers. Good value for money and as described.

Rotted away
I am guessing that it was too small a piece of root, but it didn’t sprout and when I recently recovered it from my pond it was rotting away….better off buying something that you can see is alive from a garden centre

Fingers crossed it will grow
I ordered the lily expecting to be able to set it up quickly but unfortunately there was a delay, I was finally able to plant it up in the supplied basket, soil and gravel and was pleased to see that there were all ready 2 leaves starting to grow, so hopefully I have managed to get it planted and in the pond in time. This is a complete kit so makes it so easy to set up without the hassle of having to buy the separate components so saves a lot of money and wastage
