Compact, lightweight, powerful, and easy to operate
I ordered this VIVOHOME 4.75Qt Stand Mixer as an additional mixer for my home bread baking, to be able to make two different doughs at the same time. I tested it on a croissant dough which is somewhat finnicky regarding dough hooks, time, temperature, and speed. As a dough mixer, this machine is top of the line. As I wrote in the heading, it is lightweight and powerful, and has a lighted dial that makes it easy to select speeds. Now, this is a machine that won’t handle big volumes of bread. My guess is that up to 700 grams should be the limit, which is well within regular home baking needs. It is lightweight because the casing is ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene), which is a thermoplastic polymer known for its durability in finished products. It is impact-resistant, corrosion-resistant, and has good thermal stability, which is key for home bread baking. The motor is powerful enough so as to make the higher speeds not needed in my applications. The head, being light, vibrates during operation, but not enough as to de-center the hook, as other mixers do. It stays steady. I don’t comment on the noise level, because it really is irrelevant for my application; I’d say that it is par with my other mixers. What I would suggest to enhance the product is to add a handle to the bowl to make it easier to manipulate, and to make an opening on the cover (see pics) to allow removal after initial stages; this type of cover is necessary only at the start, when there could be some splashing. The baker hook (the others I didn’t test) is excellent: it picks everything left on the bowl and works wonders on the dough (see pics). This is an excellent product that can be trusted to do what it was designed to. I expect it to grow, like all my other mixers, to old age and prepare many doughs and my wife’s pastries. I like this product very much and do not hesitate to recommend it.

Reasonably priced mixer
The VIVOHOME mixer came well packaged-the mixer suspended between Styrofoam endcaps. Both end caps were damaged, but the product was okay. The mixer housing is all plastic with chrome trim. Rubber suction cups lock the mixer to the countertop. The dough hook and mixing beater are anodized aluminum and the whisk is plastic and stainless steel. The mixing bowl is stainless steel. An egg yolk separator, which I didn't expect, was included. The user manual is written in easy-to-understand English. Several recipes are included but all measurements are metric.Using the mixer, the knob feels and looks flimsy but so far it is holding up well. It was a bit louder than I expected 77 db. on low speed and 81 db. on high, if you are into that sort of thing. My first recipe was for zucchini bread. Dry and wet ingredients mixed well but the mixer started to labor a bit as the mix got stiffer. Bottom line, it is not a high-end mixer but very reasonably priced and does the job. By the way, the zucchini bread was delicious.

4.75 Quart Stand Mixer, 8 Speed
I use this primarily for my pizza dough. I love it and all the attachments that came with it will get used soon, i promise. But for now... it is how I make my homemade pizza dough that I cook in my new pizza oven. Lol! I swear I have more gadgets than I need. But, I'll still end up getting more asap cause I am addicted to it. Lol! This works really great and I have absolutely no complaints about it at all. It definitely holds its own against those big boxed name brands out there. I recommend this one.... especially at a fraction of what others cost. Thank me later.

BEST FOR BREAD or DOUGH
When we got this mixer, we were replacing a stand mixer that was starting to break. This one is good for certain things and that thing is BREAD OR DOUGH. But it's not as good for other things. I didn't realize that when we got it so I want to be sure to point that out.If you are left handed, you will love the way the mixer head lifts. It has a nice clear cover for the mixing bowl. It's effective and nice to have. However, the biggest problem I've seen so far is that the head does not lift up far enough out of the way if you want to stir what's in the bowl. After using it for several tasks in the kitchen, I can say that we will definitely use it for dough based recipes. But for things other than that, it's subpar. We will use it anyway and make do.The speed control is not great. The first setting does not turn it on at all.The color is great, the handle to lift the head is very satisfying, and the bowl is great. It fits down into the mixer nicely. It has a plastic body and it could feel sturdier. it looks fantastic. So it's kind of a mixed bag for this stand mixer, but probably more pros than cons! I hope it's durable and will last a while!

Very useful lighter-weight mixer
This is not as robust as my weighty KitchenAid mixer (and it’s not as expensive), but it’s very good indeed. Nicely made for an “off-brand” device with some excellent features. My personal favorite is the precessing agitation. Instead of a single central spindle, through which rotates the various hooks and beaters, this mixer has an offset spindle embedded in a larger rotating device. So instead of mixing just below the center of the motor, it rotates around the center as well as rotating in the middle of the offset. This agitates the mixture much better than a single spindle. Clever. Also, I really like the attached hood, rather than it being a separate piece.All-in-all, an excellent addition to your kitchen appliance collection.

A reliable choice for home baking.
Its 8-speed settings give good control, whether you’re whipping cream or kneading dough. The included attachments—beater, dough hook, wire whip, and egg separator—are versatile and easy to switch out. It handles bread dough well without straining, and the bright red color adds a nice pop to the kitchen. Cleanup is straightforward, although the bowl can feel a bit small for larger batches. Overall, it’s a solid, affordable option for casual bakers.

Great quality
I enjoy using this product I loved that it came with multiple attachments to use for mixing its easy to use I do like the lock feature it has when mixing and it dosent take up to much counter space it’s definitely worth your money I do in fact wish it had a cover to go over while it sits on the counter when I’m not using it but other than that this mixer is worth every penny
