Had been contemplating paying a small fortune to get my hair done as it’s a real victim of perimenopause and in need of some help. I’d seen the ads for this product and figured I’d give it a try. So glad I did as it’s fantastic.I’m not the best with hair stylers but this was so easy to use and the end result was more than expected. My hair had more volume and looked amazing. I’ve had so many compliments and would definitely recommend it.The heat setting and timer are easy to use and enable you to personalise it to your hair type. It is big but gets the job done quicker and if I had shorter hair, I’d invest in the compact smaller one but I’ve hair a little past my shoulders. Price wise, it’s great as it would have cost me 4/5 times what I paid at the hairdressers.First time I did my hair, I used a silk bonnet to sleep in and my hair stayed in great condition for three days so recommend that in addition. Very happy overall

This is amazing! I never liked curly hair because my hair isn’t very long, but this tool is a game changer. It adds a nice touch and a bit of volume. I chose to curl just part of my hair instead of all of it, and it was super quick and easy. In the picture, I think it took just five minutes to achieve the look.Great value for money . Very fast, heats up very quickly, great curls. I started on lowest setting and lowest timer and still had great curls. Don't put temp too high otherwise you'll get a burnt smell, but then that is the same with anything that's too hot for my hair. It's all based on your personal hair type, thickness etc so only go on your own hair type and adjust to suit. Bit more expensive than I'd normally pay

I read mixed reviews before purchasing and thought I’d give it the benefit of the doubt. When I tell you it made my hair STINK. First it had a bad burnt hair smell, I’ve since washed my hair 3x put perfumed products in it and everything the smell is STILL THERE. It’s rancid and I have no idea how or when it will disappear. I’ve never had any issues with other curlers/straighteners. As for the curling ability - meh. Honestly you’re better off plaiting your hair and you get the exact same effect. Definitely not value for money. Without the awful smell I’d say £25 MAX for this product. With the smell - I feel like I need a million pounds in compensation! I don’t know what to put on the heat level. My GHds go hotter and don’t cause me any frizz and don’t smell like burning hair so yeah…. Honestly I regret this purchase so bad and will be returning. Go for another option on the market

Unfortunately not for me. Very big and quite heavy to use. I have a long bob and I found it difficult to use the ‘original’ sized Romy and I found that the wave didn’t last. Wanted to try because I’ve seen so many videos etc and was looking for a good waver but these weren’t for me.

Received my Tymo Rovy on Friday and I have to admit that I was very sceptical about it, but decided to buy one and see what all the hype was about!It’s a great looking product with easy to follow instructions. Even though it’s quite a size, it’s nice to hold and work with.I used it for the first time today AND….now I understand the hype! Even though this was my first attempt, I have a head full of soft waves 😁. They’re not perfect, but they’re not bad either. I’m sure with practice, it can only improve. Beats trying to wave hair with straighteners!I think it’s a good product and it does exactly what they say it will. What’s not to like about that 👍As a side note, after reading reviews about the US vs the Uk plug situation, I did buy a plug adapter at the same time as purchasing the Tymo, just in case. However, didn’t need it, mine came with a UK plug 👏.I now have a surplus adapter, but hey……🙃

I have a cheaper version of this waver that cost me 10 pounds and does the same .The only difference this waver has is the timer but nothing else.If you curl your hair 180 degrees your hair will smell like burnt if you use it with lower heating the waves do not look great look like you plunged your fingers in a electric box.I wouldn’t recommend to buy it is to expensive and nothing different from a 10 pounds product.
