I got this mouse when dealing with some hand pain from controller gaming.I was previously using an MMO style mouse with 12 buttons on the side, but it became too much for my thumb. I just map the side buttons on this to ctrl and alt (or shift) and use them as key map modifiers instead of having the 12 buttons on the side. So 1-12, alt 1-12, ctrl 1-12 etc.I have large hands and the size of the mouse is good (about 8" from tip of middle finger to base of palm/ about 10 inch circumference of palm if that helps anyone decide to try it out). The shape is nice and ergonomic. I like how adjustable the DPI settings are. It's also easy to remap the side buttons with Pulsar's Fusion Drive software. I additionally like how the mouse is very light, it makes it take longer to irritate my hands or wrist, which is great.

First of all, in a recently released mouse, an 8k polling rate is a must, I shouldn't have to order a special dongle for it. The shape and battery life are alright, nothing really stood out to me as nice coming from Deathadder V3. I prefer the shape of the Deathadder better. On the second day, it started lagging and not moving for milliseconds constantly and I had to return it.

This is my mouse choice for 2025! I have the best of the best but so far this is the most comfortable one to use for me. The only thing missing is that the software should have key-bindings that can be set per app/game, so we can bind the side keys to whichever button or macro task we want automatically when we launch a game or an app.
