This thing is ridiculously strong, so much in fact that when i walked through the door from my garage to the kitchen I completely forgot that that was a metal door, unfortunately the way the door design was i could not just slide the magnet off and be done. Oh, no sir, I had to use a tow strap to hook it to my truck to pull it off... no damage to anything, magnet dropped on to 3 feet onto concrete but the casing protected it, and most of all there was no damage to my door!Needless to say, it now lives in the box it was shipped in with all the foam around it, and I am now rethinking the rope i was going to use for "fishing" i'm thinking a much heavier climbing rope and a carabiner is the thing to use now.

It's a beautiful magnet and has all the pick-up power I would ever need.

Good strong magnet. I've used it a few times and it is very strong. Make sure you use lock tight though it the ring will eventually come off and you will lose your magnet.

I received this “fishing magnet” and noted it’s lack of potential I have high powered magnets over m42, this magnet is extremely week for the money spent, I doubt it’s even a m20. A 1/2 foam insert was included as part of the packaging. A spoon place 1/2 from a flat 3.5 inch m52 would compress and be difficult to remove.... Amazon someone is not checking what your selling, I am NOT happy with this.

Picks up everything for magnet fishing!

The magnet is super strong and can literally be used to tow a car. My only fear is that I might actually attach to a car under the water and need help to drag it up.
