Would be beautiful but the stone is completely transparent & hollow looking
Would be beautiful but the stone is completely transparent & hollow looking, not rich like the picture but glassy looking. Like others have mentioned, you can see the band through the stone but I wouldn't have minded except - there's a dark grey spot right in the center where the stone is attached to the band, ruins the elegance & looks very cheap. Would have probably still kept it if not for that. Not worth the price.

Band shows through
The stone is paler than anticipated, and I can see the band of the ring through it. The band goes across the back of the stone, which in general is a good idea since it keeps the stone from lying right against your finger. However, seeing the band through the stone breaks up the looks of the stone. You can tell this a little bit in the provided image (see right hand side of stone). I'll unfortunately be sending it back. It's a lovely ring otherwise.
