Apart from the manual written in a form of English known only to the manufacturers, this has been excellent. The screen is backlit and very clear and the whole device is powered from the car's OBD port. There's enough cable to get the scanner into a comfortable position as well. Quickly diagnosed the engine fault code. It's not professional quality, but for quick home use it's more than sturdy enough.

Does what its meant to do

Although easy to use it didnt work for my 2006 BMW 3 series - it was not able to perform the diagnostic tests or read the codes so was replaced with a Veepeak Bluetooth OBD II Scanner that did work. If you have a compatible car its probably fine but worth confirming in advance of purchase (from the description on Amazon it implied it would work for 2006 diesel vehicles)

Well I bought one that needed an app on my phone. It was wasted money.I read feedback on thus one. I went for it.I had an engine light on because of an "anti poloution fault" due to a Catalytic converter that was replaced in my car,but was used.My mechanic freind who MOT'd it,told me it was OK and cleared faults. I went a few times to have it removed. Then bought this.I swear I am pretty handy with cars. But I honestly plugged ti in. (DID NOT EVEN HAVE TO SET IT UP . ) Looked at and deleted codes. I swear it took 5 minsI buy a lot from amazon. THIS IS MY BEST BUY THIS YEAR. 100%.If you need one ? This is perfect, in price, function,and ruggedness.Happy driver here

Shows all parameters as N/A on dtc lookup. Doesn't clear error codes. Need a refund.

I don't know where to start with this thing.It's easy to use, it needs no batterys as it runs of the power from van/car.Easy to read and navigate the menus.Good back-light on the screen.So this little thing has saved me a small fortune today. Its erased a code and got a anti shudder valve back working on a vivaro 2009.Helped me detect faulty alternator on transit 2016.Removed limp mode from another vivaro 2009 and turned engine light of.Tested it on a 2016 audi a4 identified car straight away fortunately nothing needed doing on this but if it had this little beauty would of been up to the job.Highly recommended even if you don't need it keep it in your glove box as might save you a small fortune one day.
