Using Ubuntu 20.04 and Zoom does not work with the Ipevo Visualizer software, it causes Zoom to freeze. When you kill the Visualizer software Zoom sometimes works again or you have to restart zoom. I also tried to use the camera in a Ubuntu virtual machine to avoid the zoom conflict. Once you redirect the Ipevo USB to the VM and start the Visualizer the VM crashes.I tried a number of Ubuntu alternatives and found that the best fit is the Webcamoid software..There is NOTHING wrong with this camera/visualiser, its a very good piece of kit and would recommend it, just don't use the visualizer software downloaded from Ipevo if your using Zoom.

This IPEVO document camera was a really good option!It is so flexible. We can do whiteboard vídeos with it, we can show a book or any object, we can do all that is promised and even more.The quality of the plastics could be a bit better - not that I had any problem yet - and I do not love its colour, as it looks a bit childish, but those are simply details.Having a lasting battery is very useful as that way we can use it anywhere!The software was downloaded from Apple Store and it's so cool! We can record, do a time-lapse or a slow-motion without using any other software.Good choice!

When I buy a piece of technology, I just want it to work with no fuss. This Visualizer does just that. I can have 2 presentations open and a couple of YouTube videos cued up and ready to play, and the Visualizer will just work. No glitches, no adjusting or tweaking controls. When I’m standing in front of 30 teenagers that’s what I need. It is expensive, but I had a “Hue” Visualizer before and it was so moody and temperamental that in the end I sold it and bought the IPEVO instead. Worth every penny. Also it has a huge battery so I just leave it turned on all day, and I can circulate round the class with it showing exemplary work through the projector.

We are having some problems integrating more than 1 video at a time with this camera, the manufacturer is working with us to make the teachers be able to produce better materials for homeschooling

The product is good, but there is little point paying for the wifi connection, since you can't connect to the internet (via wifi) and the camera at the same time. One of them has to been wired. This is annoying since I paid the extra for the wifi version, and it was not clearly stated on the product.
