Great replacement for Insulating Speaker Foam
Well bought this for a totally different purpose other than Yoga. After seeing a YouTube video review from Z Reviews that this would actually work as insulating foam for studio monitors, I thought what could I loose... a pair is only $8 while a set of other insulating foams actually made for speakers are $30 all the way up to $100 +.But yeah been using it for about a week now on my JBL LSR305 speakers and I must say I am loving the performance. The savings even better. If you are here after seeing the same review don't be afraid go for it and get yourself a set.

Poor quality mat not suitable for yoga
This mat is awful for yoga. It's so thick that you can't keep your balance. Also, it slides on the floor when doing downward dog. And my biggest complaint is that the mat is easily damaged when doing normal practice. After the first use, I noticed indentions in the mat caused by my feet. By the third week, there was a tear in the mat from normal use.

They are not the same as shown on the Images on Amazon!
I ordered two different colors, one orange and one pink. The orange one is similar to the image on amazon website but the pink one is different from the image. It seems it is from an older collection and it seems a little bit thiner. Even the company's logo is on the under side of the mat compare to the orange one. I don't like that they look different, because I want to give them as gift.I contacted Amazon customer service and they told me there is no similar complain about the products... I told them I think no one ordered more than one mat, that's the reason other people did not have anything else to compare their product with each other!! So other customers didn't realize!I ordered the pink one again, but who can guarantee that they will ship it as it seems on the images they have on Amazon website? Here are the images that shows they really look different!

A Comfy, Cozy, No-Slip Dream of a Mat
Oh man, where to begin with this unsung hero of a mat?I bought this mat in orange after a rather exhaustive search on Amazon. I read many, many reviews searching for others with my same set of parameters. I was in need of a new exercise mat to meet my following specifications:- Thick and comfy to dampen the stress and discomfort on my joints that came from my previous too-thin mat on my office's concrete floor- Colorful and inviting to work out on- Easy to store- MOST IMPORTANTLY, would not easily slide on said concrete floorMy previous mat was a generic yoga mat I'd had for years. It came with a yoga DVD, and it worked fine when I worked out at home on my carpet, but as soon as I became serious about working out and began using my lunch break to workout in our company gym, I realized the necessity of a thicker, better quality mat. More specifically, when I would do planks from my knees, I couldn't even finish because of the discomfort on my bones, and when I did crunches, my tail bone ached. Even worse, my mat would slide in warrior pose or downward dog, and I couldn't maintain necessary form, costing myself valuable time and energy.Knowing that I needed a better slip resistant mat more than anything else, I began searching for 1/2 inch thick mats with reviews discussing slip resistance, and after looking at Fit Spirit's reviews, I found this made me feel the most confidant. I selected the bold and beautiful orange mat, and I'm happy to see this is EVERYTHING I wanted in a mat.Upon first unrolling, it had both a bit of a "mat" smell and was kinked at the end pretty good from being rolled so long. Additionally, there were some notches from the carrying bands, but all of that faded within two days. From the first moment I laid on it, it was like floating on a darn cloud, and relaxation pose has never been more rewarding! I could honestly sleep on this mat if I ever need comfort while camping. As for thickness, this absolutely lives up to its marketing. It's so thick, I see the imprints of my toes, heels, and hands in it throughout the duration of my workout, but it's back to its fluffy self the next day.One side of the mat is smooth, the other is lightly ribbed. I find that laying the ribbed side down gets the best grip on the concrete floors, and I do not slide at all. I consciously try before each workout to ensure I won't encounter struggles during, but I have yet to slip because of the mat (no guarantees on my own balance though). I imagine if you're working on carpeting, you could use the ribbed side for better grip for yourself as well.I cannot speak to how this holds up to hot yoga because the thought of hot yoga makes me want to curl up on this mat and die, but needless to say, I can only say that in a typical temperature-controlled space under a demanding workout, I have no trouble with sweat impacting my moves on the mat.The carrying straps are kind of too much work for me to bother with on a daily basis. I just roll it up in the corner and it stays fine. They're not hard to put on--I'm just too lazy to do it.I may update after a year or so to say how it's held up to my 2-day a week workouts requiring a mat, but for now, it's everything I could have hoped for and more.

Perfect for people who have pain doing bodywork/yoga/etc. on hardfloor surfaces
I *LOVE* this mat.Let me repeat myself: I ****LOVE**** THIS MAT!Pros: very pretty, very thick, very comfortable. Very little odor when opening the packaging and it degassed very quickly.I get a lot of compliments on how pretty is is when I take it to classes. People have asked me where to buy it.Mats with the usual thickness don't work for me: I have a lot of pain being on hardwood floors, and one of my classes is on a hardwood floor. This mat has removed ALL of my pain on that floor and I am able to participate fully. I even took it outdoors with me in the mountains, sat it under a tree and laid down on it to watch the clouds, and I could not feel the bumps and roots and stones underneath me.If you would have trouble using something that is so thick it squishes under your weight a little bit, this is not the mat for you, but if, like me, you really need that extra padding. do not hesitate on choosing this one.

Also great for speakers and headphones
Another happy customer who purchased these not for the intended purpose. Based on Z Reviews suggestion I currently use these to hold my headphones on my desk and night stand. I bought the 3" version and in hind-sight should have gotten the 4" ones for this purpose. Heck, at this price I probably will pick up a bunch more of these anyhow. Overall they are prefect for what I needed them for. I'll try them as speaker pads soon too.

Super soft & squishy
I love this mat! It's so squishy and soft, my little cousin comes into my room just to lay on it. I use it mainly for stretching because I have hard floors but I see what other people are saying with the stretching of the material if you were to be doing yoga poses on it and applying weight and pressure. I read those reviews before hand and still bought it anyway. Very happy with it.
