Does not Work with Leviton Z Wave Controllers
For those of you that use Leviton Z Wave controllers, be aware that these devices do not work with Leviton. I purchased two of these garage door tilt sensors and unfortunately I discovered that although I was able to include them into the network I was unable to have them work correctly with my system. I contacted Ecolinks tech support and this was their reply./*My name is Trint thank you for contacting Ecolink Technical support.Unfortunately your Leviton Z Wave controller does not support the Ecolink sensors at this time*/I can't say that these are bad tilt sensors. It is just that they do not work in my system. (HAI Omnipro 2 security system with the Leviton Z Wave controller) This could be more of a Leviton issue, but either way, no go.

Works as expected. I adjusted the tilt switch in the cases a bit more so that the doors would signal the open condition a little quicker. (I just wish that the documentation was better. There are screw terminals in the unit that the instruction manual does not reference. Unfortunatly, that appears to be one of those "Why Should We Bother" items for Ecolinks quality control people.) I am using it with a Smarthings hub and have about 25 sensors on my system.

Works but unreliable
I ordered a 2 pack of these to use in conjunction with my Samsung SmartThings hub (v2) - somewhat based on positive reviews and pricing. I was able to get both of them connected to my Z-wave network OK but I found both my sensors to be unreliable. At times they would work perfectly for both garage doors and at other times they would only register opening - or closing - but not both. I ended up returning and purchasing a very similar set of Monoprice tilt sensors (from Amazon) and so far they have worked perfectly so I believe the issue to be with these sensors and not my hub or network. They appear to be cheaply made and the tilt sensors themselves don't seem to be reliable enough. And I did try excluding them and re-including them many times. At least that's my experience. So far (3 days into it) I would recommend the Monoprice (see: http://www.amazon.com/Monoprice-Z-Wave-Garage-Door-Sensor/dp/B00V5IQ8E8?ie=UTF8&psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00) one's over these.

Easy fix to either open and close the door again ...
I have two of these sensors and both have had problems registering the door is down. I'm using it with the SmartThings hub and every once in a while these sensors get stuck or something because it'll report that my door is open when it isn't. Easy fix to either open and close the door again or take the sensor off the door and cycle it but when trying to verify you put the garage down after leaving it can be frustrating to have a false signal.

Good smartthings integration with developer scripts
Very happy with this. I bought it to work with the MyQ script for Smartthimgs after they disabled the status checks. This allows me to see the status of the garage and Smartthimgs tells me we left the garage open when no one is home or at a preset time. You will have to go to the developer page to add it from Smartthimgs so check their forums or just Google it.

I have mine configured with a Vera lite. Setup and pairing was simple. The tilt switch sometimes falses when the humidity is (very) high, but here in the desert that is a rare event.

Built broken?
I have to concur with other reviewers who have had reliability problems with this sensor. I bought two of these units two years ago and have found that they were unreliable to the point of being useless - frequently showing that the doors were open when they were not. I finally un-soldered the roller-bearing tilt sensor from the circuit board and and replaced it with a cheap mercury switch. That seems to have resolved the problem and they are now working as they should. Maybe they had QA problems when these were assembled?

Great Support from Ecolink
I bought a pack of 2 and 1 stopped working properly. I was unable to contact the seller, SB Natural Products because their phone was disconnected. So, with Amazon's help I contacted the manufacturer, Ecolink. Ecolink was very helpful. I performed a quick test they asked for that showed the sensor was good but it could not communicate with the Smartthings gateway. So, I relocated the sensor to a different spot on the door and now it works perfectly.
