Teach middle school math, and on Fridays have a Rubik’s cube class in the morning. Once a student masters the 3 x 3 this is a fun challenge for them to equate their knowledge that is based soley in uniform square with differing colors to these no non-uniform rectangles with no color differentiating. It’s a great follow up to keep them motivated and interested in the problem solving lessons Rubik’s cubes offer.

The media could not be loaded. I bought this cube and an effort to make a video on how to solve the mirror cube. There’s a video on my YouTube. It shows what I did. The problem with the mirror is you have no reference to color like you do with the regular cube plus you have different geometry, and sizes. Before I attempted to mess it up and solve it , I attached colored stickers to each one of the sides to indicate red blue, green, yellow, orange, etc.. . So that apply algorithms too solve the same as a regular cube.

Bought this for a really smart boy in my group home, he played with this for hours, very unique,very challenging for him. It took him about 1 month to completely get it mastered, and still plays with it! Very durable!
