Sony - PlayStation 4 Pro Console (3002470) Jet Black - 1TB - Renewed

When my PS4 slim conked out and all I could find online were refurbished models of the slim and pro, my heart sank. I know that Sony is in the next gen of consoles right now, but I'm perfectly satisfied with the PS4. Anyway, I took the chance buying from this seller. It was shipped fast, secure, and in the condition as it was described. I opted for the Pro, also bought an Ethernet cable, connected the Pro to the busted Slim and transferred all my data to the new console in about an hour and some change. There are tons of youtube videos showing how to transfer data/purchases/settings so it was pretty easy to do. If you're on the line about picking up one, rest assured, its been a couple of weeks and zero problems!

Item was great and it exceeded my expectations

USB cable that it came with did not work for some reason..it was a charge only cable ig idk.. I had no idea, and was racking my brain trying to figure out what was wrong and what I could do... I ended up taking the USB that came with my roku and it works now. Very very pissed that it took almost 3 weeks to figure this out

The package was well wrapped and protected inside. I started to panic when a part of the back cover fell as soon as I opened the box. Plus, the screw that holds the hard drive was not there and you could hear a couple of loose (hopefully just screws) parts inside. I fortunately got to find the screw for the hard drive inside the stuck in the hard drive bay. I can still hear another screw making noises inside. I still connected and tested the console and it works pretty well. Tried a couple of new games I found and connected to WiFi without problem. I’ll still continue testing and hopefully everything would be alright but still if it doesn’t I can return it.

Really suprise me, it's in pretty good condition

I'll be honest, I bought this product before reading the more recent reviews, most of which complain about the controller. I didn't expect much and I thought I would get a crappy unclean refurbished ps4 Pro, but I can gladly say I was wrong. Attached are photos of the packaging (there was another piece of paper in the console picture but my dog already had it) of the console and accessories. Controller looked great, it's better than the pre-owned controllers I have bought from gamestop, clean with good thumb pads and doesn't have any button or stick drift issues; also came with the Playstation cables which is good. I removed the top cover to see if the heat sink had been cleaned and as you can see it has. Fired it up, connects to wifi and ethernet, downloads games, runs discs and is reasonably quiet unless it's heavily loaded but I expected this. It's the CUH-7015B which I believe is the launch model. Overall, I would recommend this product to someone who wants to buy a ps4 pro. If anything happens I will update.

The USB ports didn't work, and the controller didn't work at all, console itself was kinda scratched up but seems to work, just not thrilled with being told it's all good and checked out but it's not

The media could not be loaded. The ps4 looked clean when I got it but when I plugged it in started overheating, even before I started playing. Decided to open it and check if the inside was clean. IT WAS NOT.Most likely what they did is just use some air pressure can and clean what was visible from the outside. Definitely the console was not "professionally inspected and tested" as amazon claims. The unit I got was sent from Game Brain Electronics.I opened the PS4, clean it myself and also replaced the thermal paste (it was old and cracked due to overheating). When I was done, put it back together and everything went perfect, no overheating, no problems, no fan going crazy.The product is good, everything worked and the control is in great shape.But the state that was delivered in, really makes you wonder if the consoles are tested at all.Note: I got some experience with electronics, but found cleaning tutorials on YT. Basically did what the tutorial suggested and spend around 25-30 dlls on the compressed air can, thermal paste and electronics alcohol.
