Worked fine for 6 weeks and thought it was fantastic.
Worked fine for 6 weeks, but tonight when powering on shows life and then turns straight back off, leads and everything else are working fine so can only be a fault in the main unit.

the right product at the right price
the stick on and magnetic mount ,not very strong , fell off after an hour, aerial limits the amount ,and quality of the radio stations

Have to rescan to change stations.
Needed external aerial to work properly, and changing to another station produced a 'rescan?' message for 90% of stations. Not very convenient! Sound quality good.

Works very well
I bought this from a well known online auction site for similar money.Reading reviews of DAB radio in general I was concerned about the likelihood of not being able to receive any stations. Reports of poor signals etc. I can say that with this device and the Active Aerial I have had absolutely no trouble in Manchester, Wigan and Oldham (where I've used it) receiving signals and some 120+ DAB radio stations stored. They are as clear as a sunny day in Italy (not Manchester because we don't get sun here).I have connected my iPhone 8 via Bluetooth and played both music and used the phone with it and again it works really well. I'm using it in a 1998 BMW Z3 with modern radio (it has USB and Aux input) and prefer to use the AUX rather than FM transmission. Just make sure you answer the phone with the push button volume knob on the device and NOT and icon/button from your phone.I have tried the FM Transmitter and it works OK, but having had various Bluetooth FM transmitters in many cars it can be hit and miss as to how well they work. In my BMW it was acceptable.I could answer the phone perfectly which with aforementioned Bluetooth transmitters my iPhone when answered would pop-up and ask "iPhone Speaker, Bluetooth or handset". Basically meaning I would have to fiddle about with the phone screen which in the UK is asking for trouble if you're successful in not having an accident as it is illegal. It also has a TF card slot which I use and works well. You cannot browse your tune list and there does not seem to be a 'shuffle' option. As such you can only advance or review songs one at time/button press.I have not found anything that displays the pictures and info shown on the advert picture. The graphics on my device are quite basic. As such the song title and station name scrolls across the bottom (like a news ticker) of the device and is really too small to see clearly. The main Menu showing all the applications is really the only colour graphic display that I have found.I have no other experience of DAB either in the home with a portable device, hi-fi separates or in-car DAB but the most frustrating thing is changing stations. You have to use the forward or backward keys or the push button volume knob to access them. It is a little fiddly and I do not recommend doing so whilst driving. The display can be on a timeout (it is bright at night) if you wish 10s, 30s etc. Can be set from the 'Setting's screen. I leave it permanently on. There is no means to dim the screen but as the graphics tend to be white on a black background it seems OK. It has a time on the main menu but only if you have connected to a DAB radio station. There is no 'off/on' button so you need to unplug the USB/power socket adaptor when not in use or leaving the car unless the power socket power turns off with your ignition. On my BMW the power socket is permanently live. The push buttons are back-lit in green and all are clear. I do not use the holder and have semi-permanent wired and fitted it to the centre console of my car but using USB in a supplied adaptor to power the device from the cigarette/12v power socket.Overall it is a great device and recommend it. The screen functions appear from the advert better then they are in reality. Those pictures of artists shown are not something I have experienced.
