I suffered a trimalleolar ankle fracture with disruption of the mortise in November 2024. It required ORIF surgery consisting of a metal plate and a total of 10 screws. Once I was discharged from the hospital, I was non-weight bearing for six weeks and was instructed to keep my leg elevated as much as possible.I really wish I had purchased this before being discharged from the hospital. For the first few days I had used pillows, but I started getting hip pain and if I fell asleep my leg would slip off.This was by far the best post-surgical purchase I made. I’m a side sleeper, but this made it possible for me to sleep comfortably at night on my back, and I never woke up on my side like I did trying to use pillows for elevation. Using it on the couch sitting up got rid of my hip pain that the pillows had caused.It’s been almost 8 months since my injury. I still go to physical therapy twice a week, and I still use this cushion to ice my ankle after.I would definitely recommend getting one if you find yourself in need of a surgical procedure on your foot or ankle.

This wedged pillow has been one of the best purchases I have made on Amazon. I used it through my first foot surgery this year and am about to have my second. This pillow really helped me through my recovery to keep my foot elevated to reduce swelling.I know some users have had some issues with the pillow not expanding, however my husband figured out that this happens if the pillow is not warm enough. I had set it in a cool room and it was not expanding fully. He said that we needed to set it somewhere warm like next to a heat register and voila, it was fully expanded within 24 hours.

I can't think of any single product that helped me post-op as much as this pillow. It is perfect for recovery; its awesome design gives your foot the necessary height for elevation far better than stacked pillows ever can. By grasping the loop handles you can pull it closer to your hips without painful stretching. Six months after ankle surgery, I still use it to elevate my foot most evenings.The one funny thing--be sure to let it expand! It looks silly at first, but the final shape it expands too is amaaazing!

This item is a game changer. I had to be propping up several pillows which would keep toppling over. After left for 24 hrs as recommended it looked just as the image shown. It is firm enough to keep your leg stationary yet soft and comfy.

Ok works well, however it was too high for me to comfortably use it. I'm 5'5" and I struggled, however it is a great product!

Had a complete ACL repair , mine was torn in half, this item was great to reduce swelling and was very comfortable after my procedure! A must have if u have any surgery with knees or legs !🦵

This product was exactly what we needed. My wife recently had surgery on her heel. She has a cast, and it's hard for her to find a comfortable position. This was very instrumental in giving her relief.

This elevated bolster is by far the BEST ELEVATION MECHANISM, designed! Not even joking. It allows me to get comfortable after ankle surgery. I have used it on my bed, couch, and even recliner must recommended for leg and ankle injuries.
