Tastes really good and saves me a fortune on buying my chai latte from Costa!

I used to go to a posh cafe to have this before moving house. It tastes exactly the same as the cafe version, at a fraction of the price. You need very little syrup and it works well with regular or plant-based milk. I've also been frothing up cold milk, adding a teaspoon of the syrup and a large ice cube and it's a fast iced chai latte. Is it chai? No, not in any sense. But it's delicious, caffeine-free, and not filled with too many rubbish ingredients. Love that it's real sugar and not sweetener. I wish the smaller bottle was priced more sensibly as this is a little large for a small household, but it worked out to be much better value to purchase this than the mid-sized glass bottle.

I love this product, it is very good quality - I add it too warm, lactose free milk - it tastes amazing with just the right balance of spices and sweetness (not too sweet as you can add more yourself) which is perfect.Well done on producing such a great concentrate and a welcome change from coffee or other cheaper chai drinks/powders. I highly recommend it.

Excellent balance of Indian spice. Unfortunately it is rather too sweet for me.

Taste is subjective, of course, but this is far, far too sweet for me. I've just returned from the US and experienced a superb masala chai in my local coffee shop. I asked what it was and they said it was made from a liquid. I read the various reviews on Amazon and took the gamble buying this. Very expensive and a 1 litre bottle. Big mistake! Although I take sugar in tea & coffee, this was far too sickly sweet for me. The "spice" is almost unnoticeable - unlike the one in the US. Even if you like your chai masala super sweet, it's worth noting that this 1 litre bottle makes 40 cups - 50p a cup! As said, taste is subjective and I would very strongly advise the producers to offer it for sale in smaller bottles iso it can be tried before spending £20.

I've had Henny and Joe's in one of my favourite coffee shops, so I was thrilled to find it on Amazon, especially in this size bottle! The texture of the syrup is great - not too thick or gloopy. I used it for Chai Lattes: I add it to my milk and steam it using my espresso machine. I've never had the mixture split or curdle, so I'd advise anyone who has experienced that to add it to your milk before texturing it. I hope this returns to Amazon - it's great value for money in this sized bottle and it longevity of the syrup is extended so long as you keep it in the fridge.

THIS CHAI LIQUID IS THE BEST FLAVOUR EVER. mixes really well with every type of milk non non-dairy alternative, snd hot or cold. i like the 1 litre size. this 5 litre size is AMAZING MALUE for money - thank you for that. for someone like me with significant arthritic disability issues, the 5 litre size is heavy and cumbersome for me to handle. otherwise i am a very happy HENNY & JOE'S chai blend user!
