This thing really comes in handy. If one side doesn't fit, the other side usually does or close enough.I needed to replace a leaky shower faucet, so I borrowed one of these from my neighbor. I had no idea such a thing existed, but he did. I promptly looked it up and bought one of my own.A week later I needed to replace a leaky hot water intake cutoff valve under the kitchen sink. I used it on more than one nut that it fit.The last time I did that I used a crescent wrench or plumber's wrench and that's really awkward in tight spaces like under the sink -- or even impossible in many cases.Apparently, they come in sets with many more sizes. I'll likely be getting one. These things are fantastic for hard-to-reach places!

I bought one of these elsewhere and, SEARSly, it wasn't very thick or heavy. It felt like the kind of tool that might break before finishing one round of removing/replacing the three shower faucet handles. I never found out for sure b/c I needed a larger diameter tool to remove all of the faucet components further inside the wall.While shopping for the right tool, I found this one from MasterPlumber. Although it was a few dollars cheaper than the other one, it is of much better quality. It is thicker and the size markings are very clear. It qualified for FSSS and shipped promptly from Tool King via Amazon fufillment.

I needed this tool for one job and thats to remove the stem valve so i can replace it. I don't know how often i'll use this but its solidly built and its a nice tool to have in your tool chest (even if you only need it that one time)
