Soiiw Fabric Button Maker Kit Handmade Cloth Covered Button Maker Punch Press Button Machine DIY Tool with 3 Molds (diameters 18, 25, 30mm) and 300 Pcs Buttons

This was exactly what we were looking for. We previously purchased a press, but it was for campaign buttons, terrible with fabric. No clue why others have complained about the assembly. All I did was look at the picture of the unit and its a NO BRAINER to put together! It only took me 5 minutes (if that) to assemble! We started using it right away! This machine has already helped boost our pillow/bench business in less than a week! THANKS!!! Very affordable too! I thought we would be paying hundreds for a fabric button maker.

The pole that comes with it is aluminum... bend and flexes..hubby substituted a steel pole.. works much better... instrument are vague.. none on how to assemble..I like at the picture.. but hubby said the handle that adjusts the height should insert from the opposite side so the threaded side is the last thing the screw lever touches... works great! Mounted to a work bench for stability and we actually created a method to use the nail buttons with.. had to order a different mold.. and used a piece of steel with a hole for the nail shaft...but works great

The media could not be loaded. If you're struggling to make upholstery buttons using the Dritz button kit you find at fabric stores, this will work for you! I think that kit probably works great for extremely thin fabric but I struck out trying to make buttons using sofa fabric.A couple things to note: it's extremely heavy and durable-seeming; however, as others have mentioned, adjusting the height of the press with your hands is impossible. I had to remove the vertical pole and sledgehammer the green piece further up to get enough clearance to stick the molds under. But after that adjustment, it works like a charm. And how about a round of applause for this color scheme? Anyway, the written instructions the kit comes with are a little difficult to figure out so I hope this video helps!

Product would not work for most sizes because the head was frozen too low on the shaft. I ordered a replacement, but that one had the same issue. Seller just offered to have me return both. I managed to adjust one of them with a heavy mallet so it mostly works now, but nowhere near worth the price

Very nice machine for the money! I debated buying because of other poor reviews because of setup but I was able to figure out why people thought it was defective! Other reviews commented on the adjustment in the back not working or being defective but it is just very tight. If you use a heavy duty flat head you can carefully add pressure or pry a little and adjust as needed. See photos.

First, it looked all dusty inside while Opening, then the instruction to assemble it is horrible, you can’t understand anything, I’m trying to see if I can go on YouTube for that. Just annoying.

The quality of the fit of nearly every part of the press assy is very poor.It’s rather easy to use if you can assemble it. I had to tool multiple parts (file and sand as well as re thread one of the knobs.)The upper part of the press is supposed to be able to be adjusted to height but the cast iron is so tight on the central shaft mount it’s never going to move.It does make buttons. We’ll see how long the dies last.
