Great integration with Alexa devices
I've been using the YoLink LoRa 1/4 Wireless Range Smart Motion Sensors for about a month now, and I'm really impressed with them. They are a great way to add a layer of security and convenience to my home.I like that the sensors are wireless and have a long range. This means that I can place them anywhere in my home without having to worry about running out of power or signal. The sensors are also very easy to set up. I simply plugged in the hub, downloaded the app, and followed the instructions. The sensors were up and running in minutes.I use the sensors to trigger a variety of actions in my home. For example, I have them set up to turn on the lights when I come home, and to turn off the alarm when I leave. I also use them to trigger automations in my smart home, such as turning on the sprinklers when I leave for work, or turning on the music when I come home.Overall, I'm really happy with the YoLink LoRa 1/4 Wireless Range Smart Motion Sensors. Works as advertised
These motion detectors work very good. They certainly detect any human motion and there are 3 different modes you can set up for notification. I get notification to my phone and with email immediately upon motion detection. Easy to set up, requires you to download an app to your phone but is free and no subscription fees or other fees. Using in a vacation home which is not occupied most of the time. When I am there, i change the mode and get a ding on my phone for each motion detection but no email. When I depart, reset to get the app notification and the email.

YoLink hub and motion sensors
Never have had any issues with any YoLink products. This was a great deal as I got the hub for basically nothing when purchased with two motion sensors. Now my coverage is even better since everything talks. Super easy set up and use. Wish they integrated with Smartthings better but with using Alexa there are work around and the speed is reasonable. No complaints on any of their products. I use multiple water, motion, door/window and a garage controller without issues and 100% reliability.

An improvised mailbox alarm
Over the years, I've had several mailbox alarms. They worked for a while and then stopped. Most of them were iffy in announcing the mailman. In searching Amazon, I found the Yolink system with it's 1/4 mile range. Intrigued, I purchased the base unit and 2 movement sensors. Installation of the yoLink base station software was somewhat difficult, but I finally got it installed. As you can see from the round white sensor on the back door of the mailbox, it's placement was pretty easy (magnet and sticker). It hasn't fallen off it's magnet yet. BTW, these are intended to announce movement on your property, but they obviously work in small areas too.Since placing the sensor, it has not failed to let me know that mail has been delivered (usually within 15 seconds of delivery but it has gone as long as 10 minutes.. You can receive an email, a text message or, for a lot of fun, an Alexa announcement. Ours says, "You've got mail."Besides the somewhat difficult software installation, text messages are limited to to a small number but are increased if you add more sensors. Emails are unlimited. I would like to see unlimited texts as you get two for each mail delivery. One when the mailman puts the mail in and one when you open the door to get the mail.

Awesome! Perfect product.
I got these because our mailbox got broken into. I have a locking bigger package box and so I was excited when I saw these sensors. My mailbox is across the street from my house so I was REALLY happy to see that I could use these a good distance from my house. My mailbox is a good 100 feet from my front door. I attached the sensor inside directly on the back of the mailbox wall so it's facing the deposit slots. It is magnetic and holds on tight! The set up was so easy a child could do it. Mostly walks you through each step. The app seems to be really great except for a few things I'm unclear on and there isn't much in the help section. I don't think I will need the feature but I would like to know what it is. I will try to look into it to see what exactly trigger action is. Most of app is understandable and easy to navigate. I also put a sensor in my step van and it's really giving me a slice of peace in my mind having these sensors. I know that people may still break in but at least I have a better chance at interrupting them or scaring them off before they take anything! The motion detection alerts are about instant. When it detects, it takes about one second for the app to alert me on the phone via text. There are 3 different options depending on how you want to be notifiyed. I do wish I could set different (tones) alerts to each device but my phone does not allow that I guess. I was so thrilled that this product was so well priced! Next day delivery! When it came I was also impressed with the actual product as well. I recommend this to anyone that has issues like mine.
