I've used this multiple times for my 3 cats, none of them have any allergic reactions or adverse effects so all good here, and no fleas either!Just know, all cats are different, what is safe for mine may not be safe for yours, watch your cat for about 30 minutes to an hour after application, if you notice burning/redness, foaming at the mouth, or etc problems wash it and possibly take your cat to the vet.Behavioral issues may be normal, I have 2 cats that do not care at all after application, but another one who acts like I betrayed him. The first time he hid from me for hours, always running away, now he gets scared for about 5 minutes then goes back to his normal self.

I use these during winter as the flea risk is not as high. That way I can save money on the more expensive brand. My cat did not get fleas while using this. Can’t say if it would work well for outdoor cats or warmer season though.

I have four cats, when one gets fleas, they all get them. I do not like using these products on my cats, but necessity required something better than what I was currently doing to keep the fleas away. With that said, this review was used with another product ( sold by another company).I used both an internal flea treatment and this topical treatment. Together the fleas were gone.I have one cat who is an older or SR cat. His body was more sensitive to the treatments. He has always been more sensitive even in his younger years. It takes him longer to recover from exposure to these treatments. Hence the reason for me not wanting to use the topical treatment.It had to be done and between both the oral and the topical the fleas were gone with one application. AND I have not let them go outside since the treatment ( I’m sure this has helped stop the infection as well)You have to remember prevention is worth a pound of cure. Extensive vacuuming of carpet and where they tend to sleep. Washing of their bedding. And Brushing out the fleas and their “nests” on each cat. The cat who had the longest fur needed the most attention with brushing out fleas.The application was easy to apply. The cats were not happy with the smell. I even had one cat cone over to me and hiss at me for his treatment! I don’t like them to be upset with me or to hurt them.. he was not happy and let me know.I prefer NATURAL treatments for my pur babies but this had to be done and I’m happy fleas are gone but I upset the kitties in using the product. It worked and I have gone back to my normal treatment. I don’t want fleas to build up a resistance to these flea treatments.

I wish I could give this review ZERO stars instead of one. This medication POISONED three out of four of my cats who began vomiting and losing weight. It’s been weeks now and one of my cats is still vomiting daily and will barely touch her food, the other is vomiting semi-daily, and the third one seems to be eating fine however she somehow lost TWO POUNDS (she was only 9.5 pounds to begin with) in the last few weeks after maintaining a consistent weight for years. I switched to this instead of using Revolution because it’s much cheaper. Big mistake. Never again! I will spend the extra money to keep my babies safe. I’m praying all three make a full recovery because I don’t know what else to do at this point. I took them to the vet and the vet said it’s likely due to this medication, but that there isn’t really much they can do since it’s been weeks besides waiting it out and just hoping it runs its course in due time and leaves their body.

One of the most effective drops for big cats for flee treatment . My wife uses it every 3 months and it really helps cats flee free.They are cheaper then branded ones but works the same way

I have 5 exclusively indoor cats who have never had fleas, so we’ve never had to use topical treatments until now (we think they got them through a screened window). Two of the cats foamed at the mouth for about 5 min after treatment. One of them lost a patch of hair where the treatment was used. One is still scratching, so it’s questionable if the treatment worked. I’m not sure if I’d buy this brand again given the reactions the cats had.If you have fleas, I’d suggest bathing your cats in Dawn first, letting them dry well, then using a topical treatment. That will help reduce fleas but also remove dander so you know if the treatment is effective. You also need to clean furniture, floors/carpet, bedding, blankets, etc.

My large former feral tom doesn't have to suffer with fleas anymore with this!It lasts to keep fighting fleas in the swampy southern heat! My sweet boy doesn't scratch anymore and has experienced no side effects. He's happy and I am too!

It's not quite time for me here to use the AMZ basics flea treatment. The shipping box had a strong aroma / smell. So, I open it Immediately and I have my two-oatmeal's sitting in the sun, getting a suntan, no, airing out! I advise you do this to, I opened the 4-dose box an made sure there was no leakage as I read complaints of closed boxes with some opened flea treatment inside. If they leaked, they leaked evenly or not at all. I bagged the insecticide inside a Ziplock making sure the nozzles were pointing up. Oh, I DO have my Test Trap out with its lightbulb (heat source) on.
