My birds love this
I use this as a treat feed for my aviary birds. They love it. In addition a pair of Lady Gouldians that have never mated before is now sitting on eggs. I really think the Milo was a part of this success.

Will not buy again
Very dirty and mixed with unknown substance. Do not return because my mom already opened it.

My pet dove loves these
I blend this seed into my pet dove’s bird food and he loves it. No store near me sells this seed in bulk so I’m glad I found this. I don’t mind the transparent packaging, all I care about is that the packaging is sealed.

It makes pap just like the millet from back home in Nigeria
The process of turning this into ogi was seamless and the final product tastes just like ogi made with oka baba from Nigeria.

Depends on what you want to use it for
I bought this product looking for sorghum to cook and eat as hot cereal. And I bought it twice. The first batch worked well-- there was a bit of chaff and other detritus, but it wasn't that much of an issue. So I was quite pleased and bought it again. But the second time there was so much chaff that it was essentially unusable. I tried to use a sieve to remove the chaff, but that didn't work. In order to get a cup worth of edible grain, I had to pick out chaff for about 15 minutes. Eventually, I just threw it all out. (That is, I added it to the compost pile.)So if you're looking for red sorghum to eat, I would avoid this product. If you're looking for mushroom growing fodder, this will probably work for you.

Good stuff, terrible packaging.
The media could not be loaded. The product itself is great. Grows them green shoots faster than chinamen can propagate bamboo, my only beef is with the dude involved in packaging. And I promise I didn't cause the issue. I used a 1/8 in box cutter at an angle, and both my bags were messed up. Not just one.Anticipate a sorghum shower if you open in a hurry. Get a backup back handy.
