I bought this about a year ago and have used it daily ever since.The scale is easy to read, fast to update, and is precise. My previous coffee scale cracked from the repeated heating from my v60 carafe even with a silicone pad within 6 months. This scale has endured and I'm quite happy with it's durability.It's accurate and precise enough I actually use it with my bread machine as well. It's a nice, low weight scale overall.Cleaning is fairly easy, I just wipe down with a damp cloth. You can pull the silicone pad off and wash it more thoroughly if you want.My only down side is that I find the batteries drain a little quickly. My normal kitchen scale can last years on a button battery, while I usually have to replace the batteries here every 6 months. I don't use the scale for more than 3-4 minutes at a time daily and once or twice a week a second time per day, and whether the battery life is due to the brightness of the display or the polling frequency of the scale, it's a minor enough quibble to not ding it's rating.It's not a cheap scale, but it appears to be one of those "buy once for a long time" investments. If you're serious about coffee dosing and measuring your water for pour over, it's easy to recommend.

I’m changing my review from 1 star to 5 stars. My scale seemed to be getting stuck at twenty grams. Not sure how long that was happening for (I recently changed my coffee recipe to 20 grams and that’s when I noticed it. I’ve owned the scale for two years now). I contacted Greater Goods and they sent me a new scale. Can’t beat that! It works great— especially the count down timer for timing shots! Don’t forget to register your product.

The scale is great, I use it every day and it always performs well. It comes calibrated and I tested that with a 100g weight. Has a built in timer, all the nice features. I would recommend getting rechargeable batteries just so you never run out. This can also be used outside of coffee for general baking/kitchen use.I do want to comment on the customer service. Not many companies these days fully back their product but Greater Goods went above and beyond. They offer a solid warranty and follow up to make sure everything is functioning properly. I had an issue with the LCD and the company made everything right. Shout out to Priyanka for helping me get back to making great coffee.Highly recommend this product and the company.

I like my little scale and it’s pretty accurate to measure the amount of coffee beans used, and the weight of the water being used. I use this every day to prepare my coffee to try to make it as consistent as possible.

This scale with a built-in timer does exactly what it promises—measuring my coffee and timing my brew perfectly. No more guessing or eyeballing; my pour-overs have definitely improved thanks to this little gadget.That said, it feels a bit like lifting a small brick every time I use it. Bulky, heavy, and not exactly the sleek kitchen ninja I was hoping for. If you’ve got limited counter space or like your gadgets lightweight and discreet, this might cramp your style.

I use this on a near daily basis for making pour over coffee and for measuring loose leaf teas. Accurate and very simple to use. I haven't had to change the batteries yet either and I've had this for about a year. I love the washable top on the scale too. It's also replaced my previous kitchen scale because of the increased accuracy. I did verify the calibration against a 100g standard weight and it was accurate within +/- 0.2g.
