I feel like If you have dental work (like crowns or veneers), a pacemaker, or certain health conditions, consult your dentist before using.

I should have taken before and after photos. I thought I’d only need the manual tools, but I had some severe calculus build up on a few teeth that the manual tools could not get. The electric one took it off easily on just the medium setting. This works just as good as professional dental equipment, and you can be as gentle as you need with yourself.

My mom refuses to pay for a dental cleaning for the cat, and I certainly can't afford it. Dental disease can lead to bacteria entering the bloodstream and damaging organs. He had brown, calcified plaque as well as weird little black lines on his teeth. I tested it on myself first, and the device does make a high pitched sound when it makes contact, but doesn't hurt - you just feel a vibration and it cleans well. He tolerated it for only a few minutes at a time, so over the course of a few weeks we'd do a short cleaning session each day, and eventually that adds up to a mouth full of clean teeth. I can't find my photos because this was months ago, but the transformation was impressive. $30 and a little time and determination goes a long way. I did try it on my other cat and he freaked out at the sound immediately so it wasn't an option for him. It's not a method that would work for everyone - it depends on your pet's reactivity to strange stimuli as well as your own patience. But if thousands of dollars at the vet is a hard no, this is at least worth a shot. For their health!

I haven’t used it long enough to tell if it had any improvement on my teeth, but I did want to address one major issue I’m seeing a lot of the comments refer to. “IT DOESN’T VIBRATE”. It actually DOES, you just have to put it to your teeth first. I almost returned this myself because I was so mad it wasn’t vibrating while I just held it. However, as soon as it touches your teeth it works as it’s supposed too. All of the one star reviews would be removed if people just held it up to their teeth and tried it instead of just holding it in their hands as shown in all of the videos. Trust me, try it that way and it will work as intended! :)

I hadn’t been to the dentist in a few years because I was so embarrassed about how bad I let my teeth get. I tried to use floss but it wasn’t strong enough. I saw this product and all the great reviews it had and I tried it out today and I am so amazed. My teeth look 10X better, they’re not perfect but much better than before. This with a water flosser worked wonders now I will keep doing what I need to do to keep my teeth healthy and clean. I love it! I’m so happy :)

I am a scaredy cat bc my teeth are sensitive but I had such hard buildup i ordered this. I did the lowest setting possible and in about 30 minutes of very slow careful process in the mirror with breaks of flossing in between I got all the hard tartar off the inside of my bottom teeth and the outside. This is amazing honestly, just be gentle! It’s the next day now and no pain no sensitivity only clean teeth. Don’t wipe your spit as it accumulates you don’t want to be working on a completely dry area

Highly recommend! I’ve been a smoker and coffee drinker for a long time and hate going to the dentist because of how I’m made to feel about plaque build up and the stigma of being a smoker which has led to skipping the dentist and ignoring problems with my gums and teeth. I feel confident now to go to the dentist. The different modes are great for more sensitive areas and being able to have stronger pressure on thick plaque. The other items that come with it are great. There are no instructions so I recommend switching heads when starting. It took a while to realize that one is flat tipped making it easier to get tougher scale. No vibration in other areas of mouth or head and much less painful than the dentist.

I do like it but I cannot figure out how to change the heads. The included wrench is too small to place it where the image is showing and when I try to twist the head to change it all I hear is cracking so I am really confused. I want to give it 5 stars but I cannot switch to the other head.update: seller has been in contact with me and very nice. I still have not been able to change the heads and I even had my son try to do it and he thought he was going to break it. I still an able to use it and it does clean your teeth.
