This inline fan does wonders for keeping the perfect temp for my plants! Easy to assemble. Instructions are simple. Product is well worth the cost!

Pros: Overall build quality was very satisfying. Fan housing is steel and is fairly heavy for it's size. Included duct was of good quality (expected less honestly - pleasantly disappointed😁👍)The filter is huge. I didn't expect that. In all fairness, I just knew to buy the 6", I never looked at the measurements.I smell nothing outside the tent and I use fish emulsion (this $#!t sinks).It also has a potentiometer for speed adjustment.Cons: I had to cut a piece of wood to bolt the fan to because, while it does come with a bracket and nuts and bolts, it doesn't come with a way to hang it inside the tent.Also, the filter is bulky and a little heavy to hold overhead and hang by yourself. YOU'RE GOING TO WANT A SECOND SET OF HANDS (Yeah, you can hang it yourself, but if you have an anxiety disorder as well, just save yourself the frustration😤🤬👍)Only other con is the noise level.If the door isn't shut to that room, the fan can be heard downstairs and around the corner.Other than that, 10 out of 10 for performance. Would buy again if I needed another.

This Inline Fan was Super Easy to Install.It included Straps for the Carbon Filter and A Nice New Pre-Filter that fit it !!!The Inline fan does make noise but but not a lot. Vivosun also makes a Noise Reducer You can add to Your Setup as well. Then It would be Even Less Noise. But as is, it's quite manageable !!!Great for Beginners and Anyone Growing.Vivosun has GREAT Customer Service & Warranty department.I have this Setup to exhaust myVivosun 2.5' × 2.5' Grow Tent anda Vivosun 4" inline for intake of Fresh Air w/Carbon filter to filter outside Air Coming into my Garden. I have the Included Carbon Filter as well on the exhaust. As well as another one @ the end where I vent outside... Can't Smell a thing..I added a C02 bag & Vivosun Fabric Pots Now My Garden is Thriving !!!Also Not a smell one coming from my Tent except in the room holding the tent when I open/close the main doors. Other than that No One CAN tell !!!Just my experience though but it All Works Great Together !!!5 STARS ALL DAY LONGCAN'T BEAT THE VALUE FOR THIS PRICEA BARGIN @ THIS $$$

PROS: There's quite a bit to like about this setup. Overall it works. I am setting this up in a 60x32x80 sized Vivosun grow tent, and once the fan and filters are in place, it immediately cleared up any residue odors that were left in my basement even when placed on the lowest setting. The noise is also pretty low, all the way up til you get towards med-high..... although even then it's not too bad (Maybe I'm biased though given it's in a basement lol). Assembly although manageable given the right tools for the job, can be a bit tricky if doing it by yourself - which then leads me to some of my cons with this productCONS: The two rust-free stainless steel clamps are great, but if you are working in a bigger sized tent than the one I outlined in my review, this may be a problem especially if you are looking to place this item somewhere on the inside. Although they are snug together...... a separate pair of smaller duct wrap and a secondary set of clamps would be ideal here to secure these two items in place. I don't expect mine to hold up and will be getting these items separately to complete my setupThe hangers for the fan seem pretty cheap and easily will detach and slide off if you are not careful with how you wrap it up against a support beam using their flimsy rubber clips. Vivosun should invest in getting some metal clip hangers like used on a Mars Hydro grow light to support something of this weight. It would put a lot of ease into people's minds when going to set this up. Also the fact that they only provide hanging straps for just one component, and not for both the fans and carbon filter baffles me quite a bit hereI'm only knocking off one star as these come off as minor inconveniences since I had some alternative tools for getting the job done. But from a product standpoint...... they should have extra equipment provided like I mentioned above to really help convenience their consumer base

I got the 6 inch and Ive done maybe 5 grows to where the fan runs 24/7 for months at a time. The filter last about 2-3 runs. Using it in a 48x48x80 on the lowest setting and that’s enough to sink in the walls. It’s not the most quiet on the market but it’s not loud either. On full blast it gets a little loud. I would recommend the product because I’ve had it for a while and it works. 1 con though, the lip that connects the filter to the fan and the fan to the ductwork is sub-par.

Does anyone fine job of keeping the smoke out, can't complain about this one yet.

**UPDATE**After seeing this review, the seller contacted me and mailed me a brand new, working unit, free of charge. I am incredibly satisfied, and will be buying from them again.I bought this whole setup with intentions of using it a month or so after buying. I made the mistake of not opening it up and testing the components until after the return period had closed.When I went to setup the unit, everything seemed fine except when I went to turn on the fan there was nothing. I tried it in several different outlets to make sure it was not an outlet error. Unfortunately it appears as though I’ve missed my opportunity to return the fan, even though it’s never been used, and was never functional.I can’t seem to find a way to contact the seller, otherwise I would have contacted the directly to discuss replacement of the fan component. Hopefully they will be able to help me out in getting a working fan replacement!
