Q: 2004 grand cherokee has evic donut to program tire position after rotation. is this all the "programming" needed after install?

I have a 2004 Jeep Liberty that used a donut magnet to relearn the tire position. These sensors would not relearn with a magnet. I used a generic U508 relearn tool and that worked. Originally, I didn’t replace the sensor in the spare tire and was able to relearn tire position using the relearn tool on the new sensors and the donut on the OEM sensor. I then replaced the spare after the battery in that sensor died and was able to relearn them all with the relearn tool.

Q: I had a local tire dealer install a set of these tpms that i purchased and they will not train!? 2004 jeep grand cherokee 4.7. what's up with that?

The shop has to have the correct tool to link the sensors

Q: Anybody else only have 2 work ?

All for worked perfectly in my 2003 jeep liberty

Q: Can two be replaced or do you have to replace all four?

You can replace one at a time and they will have to be programmed any tire shop can program them or buy a tool on Amazon to program them yourself
