Needed this for use on my Triumph Tiger motorcycle. Triumph has this service light that comes on and tell you the only way to turn it off is to go to the dealer and spend lots of $$$$. Well, with this tool and some free software from the Triumph Tiger forum you can do and other work on the Tiger at home with your computer. I saved over one hundred dollars the first time I connected it by not having to pay the dealer for this simple operation.This tool enables me to make settings, read and clear trouble codes, make adjustments, bleed the ABS brakes and more.Love it. It works great out of the box (using Windows 8.1) and it is saving me tons of money. What's not to love about that!

Quality was my main concern, and when I recieved this item it looks very nice and does not feel cheap at all. And it works very well with my Ford vehicles. Very happy with this product, I will be recommending this to others in the future!

I got this to program 2 key using Forscan. The tutorials on Youtube show that you need to download the drivers. There are no drivers on their website, only user guides that don't open with any pdf reader.Windows 11 didn't recognize the adapter.

Why did I not see this thing before?? I wasted the same amount of money on a generic code reader. This thing is a life saver.The package comes with a disc, but I didn't have to use it. Just plugged it into my Windows 10 PC, and within few seconds the drivers were found and installed. Launched FORScan and connected to my 04 Navigator without any issues. Was able to perform the ABS adaption to get rid of the blinking traction control light. Life is good thanks to this tool.

I can confirm that this does work with Forscan. As far as I can tell this is the cheapest dongle that will. The install process is fairly easy. The instructions included with the dongle are out of date. The url they list to get instructions is wrong. The URL listed in the product description on Amazon is correct. Other than the 10 minute long detour I took hunting for the correct URL, the install was fast and easy. With this dongle and an old laptop you have pretty much everything you need to diagnose most fords made in the past 20 years or so.

This is a great alternative to some of the $70+ scan tools that offer features I can easily live without. This works great for my 2014 Ford Fusion Energi Titanium. I've used FORScan to add a ton of features to my car! Other modules offer Bluetooth and remove the switch on the side, but it would probably take just as long to connect to a scanner via bluetooth as it would to plug the scan tool into the car. Save your money and get this tool instead!

Thanks to allen84 within the Ford Forum - he provided step-by-step feedback on correcting a Ford Fusion hybrid problem and required the use of this bbfly-BF32302 USB modified FTDI chip OBD-II Scan Tool. While seeming simple at this point, there was a few specific steps that were required. However, all in all took about 2 hours of my time (to adequately digest all the steps) and 'voila!' The car is back in business and 'EV' is now working properly. Thank you!
