Second attempt - absolutely brilliant
Sadly had to return previously and Amazon returns are beyond praise! Had a full refund within 5 days. So I reordered and this time the DAP is totally amazing. It can handle just about any file on the market ( but please don't insult it with mp3 ! ) What grabbed me most was DAR or Digital Audio Remaster which will give all your recordings a makeover by boosting their sampling rate. This is no gimmick, it really does replay your files with greatly increased vividness. Replay Gain, Crossfeed, and Equaliser are on hand to reconfigure your downloads if you wish. You can also download streaming services you are signed up to very easily. Inserting a 1TB memory card is the only additional expense and that would give you a huge library of music for years to come. At £3,799 this item is expensive but I would say an investment for the rest of your life.

Not 1TB built in, but capable of it via expansion using SD Card
UPDATE: HEA Distribution who distribute for Astell&Kern addressed this for me directly. Seems like a problematic autogenerated Amazon page. Added stars for fantastic customer service.The SP3000 itself is a marvel. Coupled with Sony MDR-Z1Rs, expect stellar sound quality and a background blackness you won't get anywhere else.Top marks and well worth the asking price.ORIGINAL:The device only has 256GB of internal storage. The only way to get to 1TB is by using an SD card. This page needs to be updated with this information
