Works great
Used this with a Ugreen USB to RS232 serial adapter because I needed a null modem crossover to make the computer interface to my laser engraver. Works great while not adding excess length and weight.

Very convenient, except that it's a 2-pack of the same thing
These are awesome. The screws can be removed without them falling apart so I can plug them directly into my cable and into the device I am connecting to. My only complaint is that they came in a 2-pack with the same genders. I don't need 2 of the same thing. 1 of each type would have been more useful to me. Male to male, female to female and male to female in one kit would have been perfect.

Worked Perfectly
These worked perfectly for my application. They arrived promptly, which is important now that we don't have a local store like Radio Shack to go to and get them.

Works to convert between crossover and straight through
Because serial is not exactly current technology it can be difficult to tell both what type of cable you need and what type of cable you are buying. Sellers don't know the difference and even if things are properly labeled the terminology and jargon might as well be hieroglyphics at this point.After purchasing the wrong ones, and buying the "right ones" but receiving completely different mislabeled cables, this item allowed me to get my DB9 - DB25 Epson Thermal Printers working.I still don't know exactly which cables I purchased or which I needed, but these fixed the issue regardless.
