Lighting Works
I have had 2 of these for over 6 months. They light the area behind my recliner chairs. You can turn them around to focus the light on a wall or a plant. I did put them on small round Ikea cork hot plates. This was so they would not mark my carpet. They do get hot to touch after being on a while. I turn them on (they come with a foot petal attached). I positioned them and left them alone. Very happy with them.

I bought these lights because I thought they were the small ones you put in your planters pot to spotlight the tree but they’re actually pretty big and they are like cans. It did the same job as what I expected from the small ones so I didn’t send it back I just placed it behind the pot.

Work for what I wanted
These lights work and are easy to set up and a good value, but they look a little cheap. It’s ok with me since they are hidden in the corners of my living room. Just hope they hold up over time.

These are great
We were looking for better corner kicker uprights for a while, (we had been using a floor flood base with a halogen). The light was pleasing, but it was not ideal. These are solid, the cord and button is a great length, and most importantly the LIGHT is perfect brightness and temperature. So glad to find old school bulbs instead of LEDs in these.

Inconspicuous up-light to brighten a room/mood
These are really useful. They are small but have a replaceable LED bulb (IKR - replaceable!) and a foot-switch. They are a great mood lifter - take care of those gloomy corners during the short gray winter days.

Good amount of light.
Perfect for lighting up a room without having regular floor lamps. I used 4 in a large living room, illuminating the walls.

Needs ventilation: add a few holes
This light has no vent holes at its base, so light bulbs tend to run hot. In the pictures one bulb was running at over 140F.I drilled three 3/16” (~5mm) holes through the base of one lamp to provide ventilation. In the lamp with holes the bulbs run about 40F (22C) cooler than in the unmodified lamp.
