🎮 Surprisingly Handy for My Living Room Setup! 🖥️⌨️
I bought this WeChip W1 air mouse remote mainly to control my Android TV box, but I quickly found out it does so much more!My elderly father always struggles with typing on smart TVs or navigating small on-screen buttons. One weekend, I set this up for him — literally just plugged in the USB dongle, and it worked instantly. No drivers, no Bluetooth pairing nightmares. He was shocked when he started typing “YouTube” using the full keyboard on the back! The air mouse feature is intuitive — just a flick of the wrist moves the cursor. It’s great for controlling the TV from the sofa without pointing it directly at the screen. And when I want to search or enter passwords, I flip it over and type like a mini wireless keyboard. Super convenient.💡 A few notes:• The keyboard is not backlit, but the layout is very readable.• It’s rechargeable, which saves me money on batteries.• Not compatible with Samsung or LG TVs directly, but works perfectly through Android TV boxes or PCs.This little device replaced three remotes on our coffee table. A great purchase!✅ Easy setup✅ Full keyboard✅ Accurate air mouse✅ Rechargeable

Works Great with Invidia Shield - but IR learning not working... help?
I like that this model has a Home button. It works great with the Invidia Shield and all apps. If you don't like the air mouse (I found it a little off - maybe there is a way to calibrate?), you can turn it off and it works with the navigation buttons (up/down/rt/left). It doesn't use AAA batteries, and I hope they last or the lithium ion battery can be replaced. Charge it overnight and it seems to last quite a long time. This is the best remote I've found for the Invidia Shield.

Perfect Fit for My Living Room Setup
This is exactly what I needed! I have a large TV in my living room connected to a small PC for group Steam games and various streaming services. This remote-sized keyboard/mouse combo is the perfect solution (compact, convenient, and intuitive)I love that I can disable the mouse when needed, and use air gestures to navigate instead of relying on a flat surface. The keyboard is thumb friendly and works great from the couch.Would I use it for work? No ... unless it's for controlling a presentation or something. But for a TV entertainment setup? Absolutely winning.

Good concept, mediocre execution.
After scouring reviews of air mouse remotes for my Intel NUC HTPC, I settled on testing two different remotes: the W1 and the Pepper Jobs. The W1 has a simple, clean design that meets the needs of most of my inputs which looked appealing. Unfortunately my brief time testing it was disappointing. The wireless mouse is poorly calibrated and unexpectedly combines movement axes. The rechargeable battery is convenient but the port should be updated to USB-C. I couldn’t get the IR function to turn on my NUC out the box. It could work with more tinkering but I didn’t give it more effort after my frustrations with the air mouse. The other mouse I tested from Pepper Jobs is a much more busy design, but the air mouse function and IR blaster also worked great off the bat.I recommend you try a couple products side by side and decide for yourself.

STOP!!! DON’T DO IT UNLESS YOU LIKE PAIN.
Trying to be fair. I bought this to use with Nvidia Shield Pro. First let’s talk button lay out. The return button as well as the menu button are not in the most logical order. The power button is in the spot you would want the select button. The button to turn off and on the mouse feature will constantly get pushed because of where it is and how big it is. The volume control button are so small and laid out in such a way where you will be hitting the return button often. The one good thing is the mouse feature. That works well. Now the keyboard is not lighted. So when you watch to watch flix and chill with your lover make sure you lights are turned up full blast so you can see the keys. That always romantic, lights blaring. The keyboard is cumbersome. You always squeezing at least one of them. Then the weight balance. Usually you know which is the top of the remote and which is bottom based on the weight. Most remotes if the have batteries tend to be heavier on the bottom half. So when you pick it up you know which way to hold it based on the weight. Well if you’re like me you will be adjusting this upside down ALL THE TIME!!!Lastly the remote does not work with plex at all. It does some things but not the important things. If I want to exit out of a live tv on plex I need to use another remote on my cell phone. Top it all off you need to use a USB dongle. Now to be fair maybe this is good on some other boxes, but for me and my shield this has been a 100% unmitigated disaster!!! Never ever buy again. EVER!!! Now I need to look for a remote again.

Surprisingly Useful and Easy to Use!
I bought the WeChip W1 Air Mouse to use with my Android TV box, and it’s been a total game changer. The remote feels lightweight but solid in the hand, and the buttons are responsive. What really makes it stand out is the air mouse feature — it’s super intuitive! Just move the remote and the cursor follows; it feels like using a Wii remote but smoother.

Used to work | Garbage battery after 2 months
The one they sent worked great at first. After two months, battery won't charge. Only works when plugged in. Haven't used it. Just remembered to make a review when seeing it in my junk tech drawer.

Great
Typing on the TV remote was quite the hassle. I loved the built-in keyboard on the remote. Looks slick. Works well.
