Thinner than expected
Have owned and used many pyrex dishes over the years. They have always been reliable.These are a really nice size for nesting but the cardboard that usually helps them stack more safely was really bulky instead of the simple sized and cut pieces so im going to have to get dish protectors sooner rather than later.I have concerns regarding how much thinner the new ones are than the old ones. The old ones held up to the heat of even a large toaster oven. These were marked as not for use in a toaster oven.Consumers need specific dimensions for what exactly the limit is because i have a two rack toaster oven in place of an actual oven, and iāve used the old pyrex in it for years without issue. Iāll grant you that i am pretty careful not to temperature shock these types of dishes, but I was hoping to be able to skip some of those preventative measure steps with the new ones.Iām a little disappointed, but i couldāve read more of the description. I assumed that i knew pyrex well enough so im not letting it affect my rating.Otherwise, unless i have any issues, im pretty happy with my purchase.

I am experienced
These dishes work. The differences in sizes are considerable. We mainly use the middle size; the others donāt see much use. They can take great heat. Donāt put the plastic lids in the oven though.Pro tip: donāt pour cold liquids into hot dishes. At some point this will lead to unscheduled rapid dissassembly of dish with adverse impacts on edibility of contents. Thus the need to purchase new dishesā¦

Solid pyrex set
Can't go wrong with this set. Pretty much everything you would need for standard baking and storage. It's pyrex so it is very durable and will last as long as you take care of them.
