Fire away!Bought this for a memory foam mattress which had all sorts on it (whoever used that mattress last has leaked during a heavy menstrual period on at least one occasion and almost definitely squirted at least once, for a start!). The product comes with a white bottle housing the product and a clear spray bottle to house the solution once mixed. It's packaged in a cardboard box with those edible foam bits for protection, which I liked.The instructions say to use an inch of product, but there are no measurement marks on the spray bottle to tell you exactly what you need, which can be frustrating if you are unfamiliar with imperial measurements. I used a little finger to guesstimate how much I would need(I.e. I would lay my little finger vertically along the edge of the spray bottle;holding it this way up |instead of this way along the bottom --).* * *To try and spread out the product, I would go slightly under that measurement on one or two occasions; 500ml can get used up very quickly and may well not be enough for staining across a very large area. I think I ended up covering over half of one end on one side with that one bottle, so about a quarter of the mattress thus far.Used it before going on a 3-day holiday. Ended up using the whole thing and because there's so much staining I will need to buy some more when I can afford to, but the difference that's been made so far already is nothing short of miraculous. Better, even, because you can actually see and small the product working.I didn't really do anything in terms of scrubbing, wiping and/or dabbing stains. Sometimes it looked like a stain was spreading when you very first sprayed; however, the stains not only faded but stop smelling after a short time.As for the scent of the product:- The closest thing that springs to mind is ramune soda, which does have a very soft and faint smell a bit reminiscent of bubblegum. The scent itself isn't necessarily soft or faint, but ramune seems to be what it's most like to my nose. For those unfamiliar and curious, visit your local Asian store and buy a blue bottle of the stuff.... but PLEASE don't put it on your bedding!Those who have sensitive skin:- I would advise you get the whole bed treated at once if at all possible AND LET IT DRY before sleeping on it... HAVE BEDDING ON TOO, or at least chuck on a duvet to act as a barrier between you and the mattress.I think in an ideal world, I would suggest allowing a week or two for the mattress to dry but I didn't gave that option.I only say this because I decided not to put any bedding on until I'd managed to treat the whole mattress and I think I developed eczema-like patches. Definitely sleep with clothes on, too.The bed smells much fresher and feels much cleaner already.Might even try it on some pillows or a duvet before laundering them.It's not cheap but it is worth the most because of how well it works. If you have very heavy and/or extensive staining, I would advise to save up and get a bigger size because they are much better value for money than this one. However, this is an excellent taster of Taylor Mclure Bio-Digest. Whatever the case, this is an amazing product and I could never be without it in some capacity from now on!

Used to get rid of urine stains and smell on floorboards in bedroom in house we bought. Had already used vinegar/ bicarb solution but could still smell odour. This worked brilliantly, removed stains, and had a pleasant aroma. However a week or so on I can still smell hints of original odour. Nobody else can. Will probably repeat process. Maybe letting it sink in to boards deeper and cover with cling film to stop it drying too quickly. I should think for less heavy duty clean ups or with regular use this solution would be all that you need. Would recommend.

Invested in this as other cheaper products had not addressed a long-standing problem. Easy to use and eliminated the smell from a carpet on first use. Bottle has a fine spray so will use on mattress next.

Used on furniture. Smell no longer there.Excellent product.

Expensive but did the job in the end

At first I thought this was great but as with other products I’ve used I thought I’d wait a while to write a review. Lasted great for 3 weeks and I’d presumed I’d found a brilliant product. Within 4 weeks it was as if I’d not used anything at all. The smell was disgusting.Looks like I may need to invest in a new carpet.Very expensive product and didn’t work.

Easy to use and seems to be effective. My only complaint is that because you have to use it all when mixed, you finish up having to throw the unused mixture away and as you have to have a reasonable amount in the spray bottle for it to work, it results in a fair bit of wastage........and it's not cheap!

I bought a house with a downstairs toilet that had porous slate tiles on the floor. I could always smell a trace of urine and no matter how I cleaned it remained. I used this yesterday and today there is no more smell - fabulous! You also get a huge amount as you need to dilute it in the spray bottle provided.
