This is a film not screen protector.
I would leave 5 stars for Half Price books. The item was brand new and never used so thank you! However, this is nothing but a film which from videos galore, reviews have all said the same thing. It bubbles and as someone who has had film screen protectors go away from my Z Flip 5 I know in time the film will just start bubbling and lifting up. You drop your portal the film isn't absorbing any of the damage. I will keep this sealed. Half priced books is a great seller but this item isn't worth it and I'm not risking my Midnight Black Portal to see how the film holds up.

plastic not glass
i know it is not specifically stated, or at least I didn't notice, but this is a plastic screen protector, not glass. I'm honestly not sure if it matters or if there is a difference in protection, but I have always bought the glass made protectors. these protectors are official PS brand and do fit the portal device perfectly. it does come with 2 protectors and a microfiber cleaning cloth that has the PS logo on it.

Impossible to apply and ruins the image. It's matte, not anti glare.
This kit is awful. I can't believe it's licensed by Sony. It comes with literally nothing to assist you with the install other than a microfiber cloth. No dust sticker. A piece of cardstock that they are calling an applicator. I have installed hundreds of screen protectors on many many devices and this is the worst. It also ruins the picture quality on the portal. This isn't anti glare like a Samsung phone. This is just a matte finish that blurs the image quality and makes it look grainy at the same time. It looks like an old laptop screen. The generic GameStop brand glass screen protector for $9 is much nicer than this product, comes with installation kit and doesn't distort the image. Immediately not going to use this.

Not Worth It!
Was expecting more from a licensed product. Got a lot of bubbles out, but very hard to get them all out. Nonetheless I only wanted this to get the PlayStation microfiber cloth lls. I will be ordering a tempered glass by Spigen!

Wish I had read reviews before purchasing
I wanted to purchase a somewhat-official product, but this is really really bad. I took all the steps, and I’ve had experiences with some bubbles when applying these protective covers to my Switch or Steam Deck, but it’s never been this bad. Beware.

Playstation approved, but not the best you can get
When it comes to screen protectors for your favorite devices, you have many options (especially on Amazon)! There are cheap versions, expensive versions, and everything in between. I always choose the "glass protectors" versus the plastic. I've dropped many phones in my day, and the screens protected by the glass screens were untouched, but the plastic ones often get small divots in them from the drop. However, scratches are what you want to protect a device like the Portal from. A case can protect the drops. Playstation officially approved this one, so I opted to try it out.Why am I disappointed, then? It doesn't fit the screen as well as it should, and it doesn't offer as much protection as it should. It's a sticky, cheap plastic that separates your fingers from the screen. I don't like that these devices need a protector, with how much these cost, you'd think there'd be a built in one or they figure out a way to have no scratches. But I digress.Invest in a glass one that has great reviews about fit. Making a protector that fully fits the screen shouldn't be hard - especially if it's Playstation licensed.

No screen gaps
I like the screen protector because there's absolutely no screen gaps. This is a full screen coverage which is going to protect the system 100%. It's a great price for the screen protector. Just note that the screen protector can break but it's designed to break before the actual face of the system breaks.
