This light was so easy to set-up and is so versatile and fun. The design and look is sleek and modern. It has almost endless options to customize the light settings via the Govee app. I can easily control it with my Alexa devices and include it in routines, which makes it super practical. I have had a lot of fun going through the various customizations available in the app. There is even an AI section where it will design a setting based on what you ask for. It works surprisingly well and if you like the result there is a way to save it in the custom design (DIY) section. There is another section, called finger sketch, where you can basically draw what you want the light to display. It is quite pixelated but it was fun to play around with. I found this light to be quite expensive, but I’m still mostly glad I bought it. I recently saw it on sale for $20 of during Prime Days, at that price it is a must buy!

i am genuinely and pleasantly surprised with the quality of these lamps! i bought two for each of my bedside tables and not only was setup easy, but the look and build of these lamps are great. i also really enjoy the scene options that are available for free in the govee app, and i think the colors and luminosity options are very versatile and beautiful. i was going to splurge on some phillips hue lamps, but i’m pretty glad i chose these instead; the value for money is great in my opinion.

Favorite new home accessory for lighting! Can connect with my other Govee devices and sync them. Very easy to install, just a plug and linking to app. The size is perfect to sit on any bedside table, TV table, or small corner. The function is seamless and gives a very versatile look to our decor.

This is only my second Govee purchase after their newer cylinder floor lamp. These nightlights are stylish and very modern looking. Plenty bright - most of my saved custom settings are at 20% brightness or less (I have a pair of them not too far apart from each other). You could easily light up a medium sized room with only two of these at 100% placed in the proper location.I like these better than the cyliner floor lamp. The scenes and effects are smoother with the table lamps than the floor lamp, which looks like it has a slow framerate and sort of stutters with any motion setting regardless of speed. These seem to have the same speed ranges, but these table lamps seem to blur and blend more between the frames which makes it much less noticeable. I hope they put out an update for the floor lamp to match the blended motion of these night lights.The app is simple and has a ton of features. Easy to create your own effects, schedule on/off times in detail, and batch control multiple devices easily through custom groups. I also like the phone widget which adds a one-touch on/off button for any single device or device group. I can't speak to the matter or any other LAN integration, although those options are there in the app for these.Overall very happy with these. I'll be watching for the next deal and pick up two more for another room.

The Govee RGBIC Smart Table Lamp 2 caught my eye, and after some time with it, I can confidently say it's a fantastic addition, albeit with a couple of minor quibbles.Setup was a breeze, especially with Matter support, which meant getting it hooked into Home Assistant was practically effortless. The build quality feels solid, and the touch controls on the lamp itself are surprisingly intuitive, a quick tap to power on/off, and +/- for brightness.The RGBIC lighting is, as expected from Govee, vibrant and impressive. The ability to display multiple colors at once creates some truly stunning effects, and the 64 scene modes offer a fantastic range of ambiance. From a calming soft glow for winding down to a dynamic, colorful display for a party, this lamp handles it all. I especially love being able to customize DIY patterns through the Govee Home app.Now, for the "almost" perfect part. While the brightness range is good for most scenarios (it goes from 1% to 100%), I do find myself wishing it could get just a tad brighter for those times I need more task lighting, and conversely, a hair dimmer for truly dark, subtle night light use. Really Govee products can't be beat. The quality is second to none. I own several of their products and was thrilled to add this one to my collection. The number of different scenes it has is very impressive The colors are rich and vibrant. I have it on my kitchencounter as a focal point. It's such a nice light. The music sync feature is fantastic and you can even use Alto create your own custom scenes! They thought of everything! Cannot recommend this product and ALL Govee products for that matter. Add a little color and fun to whatever room needs it. You won't be disappointed!

These lamps are better than advertised!! They are simply amazing for every kind of lighting you can imagine! Extremely easy to operate and they have a cool modern look! You won’t regret buying one- or 2 like myself!
