Nice little magnifying unit, compact enough for a pocket or bag. The irony of having to use it to read the instructions is not lost on me. :-)

I purchased this for my Dad who has problems reading menus in pubs/restaurants or just general tasks around the house. The item is nice and small so easy to put in a pocket when you're going out. The magnifier is well protected by the sliding cover and the magnifier is good enough to see the detail, whilst not being overly magnifying that you're only seeing a few letters of the page at a time. Overall it's been a good success.

Great size to keep in bag or pocket, nice bright light on it

This replaced my father's last Carson MiniBrite. He swears by it. He has AMD in both eyes (one wet, one dry) and finds the bright light and 3x magnification is just about right. We returned the 5x as it was a letter by letter situation whereas the 3x gives him word continuity. The lenses in the MiniBrite is a much better quality than the competitors and he notices less distortion around the edges of the lenses. Highly recommend!

A really good light weight magnifying glass fits in my small bag, good price too

The more I use this the more I like it. The light is bright, which is just what I need. Good magnification. I'm using it for electronic assembly work... works well.

I'M REGISTERED BLIND SO THEY COME IN HANDY WHEN I GO OUT. I HAVE ONE (1) OF THREE (3) IN COAT OR BAG SO I DON'T FORGET TO TAKE ONE OUT WITH MY OTHER MAGNIFIERS.

bought the 5x and it magnified to much and had a lot of image distortion . the 3x works great ideal for reading labels on food items like salt and sugar levels which you need to do as the supermarkets are destroying our health by adding far to much to most of there food
